Are you happy and excited about Season 2 of The Eternal Love starring the same cast? This is gold for Chinese TV, it’s very hard to synchronize everyone’s schedule after one season. For some series, a second season could be both good and bad. You want your perfect bow-tied ending but you also don’t want silly plots to materialize and ruin the love you had for the first season. This is a mouthful. Xi Xia Book of Dead or Death of the Book of the Western Xia Dynasty (西夏死书) is an upcoming modern drama exploring an ancient city. Jiro Wang plays our hero, an outstanding college student in the archeology department, who participates in a contest held by his teacher only to be pulled into a series of events relating to the monument treasure of Western Xia. To save his life and also find a missing archeologist, he and a group of potentials embark on a journey into the ancient tombs, but he eventually discovers that his companions might harbor ulterior motives. Jia Qing plays the proud and stubborn grand-daughter of his teacher.

It’s a wrap for webdrama The Eternal Love with Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie! We will see whether they will truly continue or not with a Season 2. What a more perfect way to end the series with a serenade of their songs. They didn’t release an official soundtrack so this is just my own compilation of the 8 songs, requested by Soo a few weeks ago.
