Midnight Diner (深夜食堂) is the Chinese remake of Jdrama Shinya Shokudo, which was also based on a Japanese manga series by Yarō Abe. The story follows a mysterious chef and his late night diner open from midnight to dawn, featuring ordinary stories from his patrons every night as they chatter and eat the one requested dish. Various stars from both China and Taiwan will be making an appearance including Mark Zhao, He Jiong, Janine Chang, Hu Bing Qing, etc.

So is Mark not going to show his real hair in any of his work??? This is the second time he’s sporting a questionable hairstyle. I mean I can accept 3W3L since it’s wuxia/fantasy theme, but for goodness-sake this is a modern drama! Boy! Why?
But on the other hand, I’m so happy to see him in more projects and having his name every where now. He truly deserves more recognition.

this hairdo probably fits the character he’s playing. good actors/actresses should not be stuck on just looking like a pretty boy/girl in dramas.

I also like the K-version. Watching that show while eating was my habit haha… I couldnt imagine watching it without any food. I would be so damn hungry.
