First official stills are out! Upcoming costume drama As Flowers Fade and Fly Across the Sky (花谢花飞花满天) will always break my heart because it should be Viann Zhang and Zhu Yi Long‘s reunion drama! Our OTP, Peter Ho and Viann Zhang Xin Yu. Good hair for both. According to the synopsis I written last time, bandit’s son (Peter) acquires an injury as a child and loses his memory. He then gets adopted by by another pair of kind parents. Years later, he takes it upon himself to search for their missing daughter (Viann Zhang) who was kidnapped by his very own biological father. After rescuing her, he regains his memory and reunites with his real father. They then work together to clear his father’s reputation against a big bad boss.

Getting out that in my system lol, this drama looks lovely with decent costumes and sceneries. Xuan Lu is absolutely solid in acting and she dances beautifully, albeit it doesn’t seem like she is dancing in this one.

This Zhu Yi Long is gorgeous! If he was the lead I might watch but not too keen on the actual male lead. He looks kind of slimy in these pics.
@ Kappy: you got me excited to see Hsin Ai Lee who I liked in Princess Weiyoung but isn’t that Li Xi Nai who played the annoying Li Changru in the drama. I recognise her bad chin implant which kept distracting me during her scenes LOL

There’s a pattern with Zhu Yi Long and his female leads. He doesn’t end up with them the first time, and when they reunite in a second drama, he plays the second male lead. *shrugs* Happened with Yang Rong and now Viann. =P

Like all typical Chinese dramas these days the costumes look awfully… bright and way too polished. Idk maybe I’ve been rewatching some ’90s drama/films and I prefer the “rustic” look in ancient dramas. Peter looks nice here but imo he’s not a good actor at all. -_-; /debbie downer here

RUSTIC is the way to go!!! These people wearing clothes that are so brand new that not a single grain of sand seems to have touched them at all. Not like ancient days at all. And makes me stereotype that all dramas were only done easily inside the one room with green stuff. Probably not as much as 3L3W but still still lots of fake background.

first time seeing actress xuan lu, she is very pretty!!! Very cute too! And likeable, why why why she not the lead lolololol. But Zhu zhi xiao is hot, if they’re together they’ll be the most beautiful ones in the drama.

Oh Zhu Yi Long… I wish you were the male lead with Viann Zhang. I have nothing against Peter Ho, but I’m sooooo sad that Zhi Yi Long isn’t the main guy… T_T It would’ve made my interest in this drama much higher than it is now…

Why…Zhu Yi Long is not the lead, I want a good wuxia with a good story and directing for him. I hope that modern drama with Ady An and Zhu Yi Long is airing soon.
Hope Ai Lee character is not a bitchy one like in Wei Young and have at least good chemistry with ZYL.
