Is it only me but the closer we come to July, the most anticipation I create for The Legend of Chusen? In the beginning, I was pretty lukewarm with the series, but now I’m counting the days off. Temporary air date has been rumored to be July 17th on HNTV. They released a BTS video a few hours ago with some more stills (of the same cast members, Lol.)

Quick Synopsis: The story follows two youths, Xiao Fan (Li Yi Feng) and Jing Yu (Cheng Yi), after their whole village was massacred in one night. Both were saved by Qing Yun sect and raised differently. Xiao Fan is an ordinary kid and is sent to do chores in the kitchen while Jing Yu, the extraordinary one of the two, is given chances to learn the highest skills in Qing Yun sect. A lot more events happen and eventually Xiao Fan is pushed to the dark side and he follows Ghost King and gets a new name in Gui Li (Ghost Tears).

Behind-The-Scene Work:

• Li Yi Feng says compared to the first time he worked with wires, he’s now more comfortable, having known the feeling numerous times before. Plus, the production crew is always trying to protect the cast members from injuries.
• Our newbie in the Wuxia World, Yang Zi comments that performing martial arts moves was really hard for her, especially filming during the first month. But she’s becoming better! Aww, girl, after this series airs, you’ll get more offers! Look how beautiful you are in ancient costumes!
• Cheng Yi recalls filming in the winter at night time with goosebumps. *rain patters in the background*
• Qin Jun Jie says he has quite a number of action scenes and he gets to use many special tools and equipments. *cut to him and Li Yi Feng on a fake fish* LOL.
• Mao Zi Jun adds that the martial arts performed in the series is a combination of many styles. He finds the fighting scenes very interesting and refreshing. He has a fighting scene with Li Ying!
