First Stills of Jang Dong Gun and Tina Tang in Once Loved You Distressed Forever

What a happy drama title! LOL. Once Loved You Distressed Forever (我曾爱过你想起就心酸) is the drama adaptation of a novel written by Zi You Ji Guang. It’s described as a pure love story between a young girl and an older man (aka uncle ajushhi!) as he watches and guards her from afar while she falls in love with his friend (?). I don’t know the exact details yet cause I’m at work and can’t access Baidu/Chinese-related webbies. Balls! But according to older reports, they negotiated three months and changed a lot of the story in order to lure Korean actor Jang Dong Gun into acceptance. xD His leading lady is Tina Tang. Another lead role, good for her!

First Stills:

Jang Dong Gun was my original Korean Oppa Crush since he played the perfect gentleman in All About Eve back in 2000. His subsequent roles never leave me swooning anymore. So sad. I can’t comment on his age since he is playing an ajusshi. Lol.

With the author working with three other writers, Once Loved You Distressed Forever is directed by Shen Yi (Love in Trouble, Smiling Pasta) and is currently filming.

JDG was perfect in All About Eve. I think I managed to watch one more of his dramas after that but it wasn’t very memorable because I can’t remember the title, haha.

    The title sounds so depressing!

YES That’s the one older kdrama I’ve watched and absolutely adored. Chae Rim and JDG were adorable! And JDG was esecially dreamy and super cool — silver floppy hair and suave CEO/boss and all.

I watched Gentleman’s Dignity too, and thought it was ok, except I felt the romance and OTPs were seriously lackluster and chemistry-less.

I was mildly interested in that one because of JDG but it wasn’t enough to drag me back into Kdrama cycle. Lol.

But seriously, JDG during All About Eve days was the best. I still remember that scene where he introduced Chae Rim’s character to his dad at the company party. XD

    1. I still swoon when I rewatch All About Eve from time to time, Polaris! They were perfection. My first Korean OTP heartbreak. T____T

I love, love, LOVE his hugs and smiles when he looks at her. Chae Rim has the best eye smile at the time. One of the original eye-smiles for me too. *___*

Juli, I KNOW RIGHT? I usually dislike gelled hair but his makes me spazz so hard. HAHA. XD

Lol!!! He was my oppa crush too!!! Omg. So dreamy as the rich chaebol but not mean and arrogant. ?

I remember almost reaching into the screen and strangle the other girl and her bf!!! Hahahhahaa good days.

    1. Hehe. The casting was perfect for AAE. Everyone looked the part and acted the part. Couldn’t have asked for a better cast!

LoL what a title!! I had an imaginary comma that made it mean “Once Loved You, Distressed Forever”

    1. You cracked me up Yoyo! There is a comma in the title but I just didn’t add in the post title so it appears in one neat row. Lol.
