When He Comes Close Your Eyes wrapped up production after 72 days of filming (5/22-8/1/15). It has 24 episodes and will premiere October 15th, 2015. Pretty short for a Chinese drama. Bring all the gore and blood! I’m ready for a thriller!

This production team has the weirdest trailers ever, they keep on using English love songs. At first, I think we believed it to be fanmade but then…how could the fans obtain those clips without being involved in the production? *scratches head*

Wow, October and November broadcast dates! I knew autumn had to be my favorite season for a good reason other than the lovely weather. 😉
Wallace wasn’t my top choice for the role of Bo Jin Yan. No one was, actually. Lol. But after following the drama’s weibo and obsessively watching whatever clips available, I’m pretty excited about his portrayal.
Sandra Ma fits the role of Jian Yao pretty easily. She’s very comfy to look at, like a girl next door type and Jian Yao is exactly just that.
The Girl with Tassel Earrings looks intense. Hope it’s a good kind of intense though. Hehe.

Ahhh 2 books condensed to only 24 eps…. Kind of heart breaking as a fan of the novel but oh well. HAHAHA I agree with chasingpolaris that Wallace wasn’t really the first person that came into mind to play the hero.
I would giggle everytime the heroine describes him as “185cm” (roughly 6 feet 1, give or take) since, let’s be honest, our friend Wallace isn’t that height 😀
I also agree that as I continue to bathe myself in bts pictures and trailers, Wallace does seem like a great actor to take the role and Sandra is perfect – no argument here.

I have not watch a drama that is longer than 22 eps for years now, and nowadays, I just pass forward and watch a whole entire drama in 1 day 24 hours. But I can’t wait for Gui gui’s drama! I hope this will be a great one!
