Lu Han’s Fighter of the Destiny with Gulnazar and Janice Wu

Aww… Our cutie pie, Janice Wu, finds herself in a second lead/supporting role (depending on script changes) after the popular My Amazing Boyfriend, in the upcoming novel-to-drama adaptation of Mao Ni’s Fighter of the Destiny (择天记 ), opposite Lu Han and Gulnazar. I can’t picture these two together yet mainly because Lu Han looks so darn babyish next to his leading lady.

Cast Members:

Lu Han is up for the lead role, Chen Chang Sheng. Abandoned in a flowing river and plucked up by a Taoist monk. He’s actually the fourth Prince of the Chen’s Royal bloodline. He’s plagued with an incurable illness, fated not to live past the age of 20. To find a cure, he leaves his temple, armed with a promise of marriage scroll, to become a student at a famous academy. He meets Xu You Rong and they slowly fall in love after hopping though the trials and tribulations of his journey.

Ever notice the recent trend in Wuxia series is to have the male lead sick and his journey to find the cure? Ahum….

Gulnazar as the female lead, Xu You Rong. A gifted child in the practice of a special magical language? Sorry I lost it at this point, all the magical voodoo vocab. She likes archery and hates nuisance.

Janice Wu as Luo Luo. Princess of adorableness (really, just look at her animation!) After being saved once by the male lead, she calls him Shifu and follows him into the academy.

Joseph Zeng Shun Xi. Not sure what role he plays, but the hero does have a best friend in this age range. Lol.

Directed by Zhong Shu Jia (King of Lan Ling, Golden Brother), booting is held May 31st without the attending main cast members. What…are kiddos hiding? Lol.

Slightly interested in this. I blame it on the beautiful ending theme to the animation:

So the director is the same one for King of Lan Ling huh. That would pique my interest as well. Hehe.

Those songs are nice, aren’t they? I looked through a random episode in order to grab and post the cute picture of Janice’s character. So cute!

I’ve been listening to these types of songs for the past year. Don’t know much about Cpop songs anymore unless they’re in dramas. ^^;; I prefer the lyrics in these songs. So poetic.

I will follow this project. It sounds pretty good so far.

I’m more excited to see the reactions of people who can’t stand Lu Han.

There are only two things that can mess up it up just like any other dramas, bad acting or bad script. And IMO awful visual effects can ruin the experience as well.

This picture of Luhan is very old, he. It’s from his Exo days.
