Every joint in my body is sore and in pain! Just did an obstacle challenge with a few co-workers (without training for it!) and I’m suffering! Tsk Tsk. Anyway, I really hope the youth section in this modern drama is longer than three episodes because I need to see Liu Shi Shi smiling and looking cute in her braids. She looks so sad grown-up in the stills! Ryan Zheng manages to pull off the Japanese delinquent look and the spiffy suits in his adult years. Precious Youth follows the good old trope of bad-boy-meets-good-girl as they miss the chance to follow through with their youthful romance. Years later, both are now with another person when they meet again and those hidden feelings rise to surface.

I don’t see any plot though. Like, they’d fell in love as kids, and then re-met and are falling in love again….how does that last for 35 eps? I hope they don’t pull out all the melo-tropes.

Yeah. At first I thought this was a movie, but a drama…that’s just…not right. Plus, LSS used to be my bias, until ZLY. Then I just got tired of LSS’s face and acting. Her variety person is not that interesting either. It’s just…ZLY has a lot of dramas at the same time, but I feel like she brings something different to each character. But LSS, after a while, the characters are all meh. Her character in the fail BBJQ is like Mu Nian Ci in LoCH, Ruo Xi is like her Jin Yu (even though, they’re really not supposed to be that similar…her acting makes them basically the same person…smart, intelligent, can be cunning, but also unconventional, sometimes mischevious/cute…same thing)

I have always liked LSS because of the elegant and classy aura she embodies. Which sometimes I think makes it hard for her to play certain upbeat characters.

Speaking of LSS, lol does anyone still remember Happiness of an Angel from like 2012? I was so excited for that like 3 years ago…and it just never came out. Like mysteriously MIA, I don’t even know what happened to it.

Honestly, I might watch the first few episodes of this drama and skipped the melo part. LSS’s melo face is ingrained in my head.

I have been anticipating the airing of her dramas… It has been quite a while since I last saw her on screen and really do miss her~ Don’t really like the feel of this drama though, sounds like a 虐恋 drama, which I always try to avoid.
