***150th COMPLETED PROJECT!!!*** Uncut Version – 52 Episodes ONLY!
Kappy: Watched the first three episodes. Not bad storyline for Li Mo Chou but a tad bit unconvincing because of the pacing for the relationships. Little XLN (Zhang Zi Mou – only 6) is adorable. She manages to look cute even with horn hair. I’m loving the deeper voice of adult XLN, they usually let their leading ladies have this whiny, girly voice but this is lovely.
So yep, here I am. Joined by hopefully more than 3 people. 🙂

My opinion is very limited right because of no subtitles. From what I gather, there are lots of romances. Yang Guo is/will be more flirty than other versions and Michelle has confessed that since the production aims at the new generation, she would like others to see a fresh portrayal of XLN as well.
Brownie points for background story but it fails because of pacing. I did not like the guy Chen Xiang played at all. Rooting for Li Mo Chou. That’s a first.
Zhao Li Ying’s cameo is way hyped up by the media though. It lacks the emotional impact I was expecting. Hoping to see some more of my two babies together!

I’ll start DLing after episode 4, thanks so much for posting them here ^o^ I didn’t have confidence that anyone would upload this drama in English blogosphere because this production was kinda bashed by so many.
My impression of the first 4 episodes:
They focus a lot more on the childhoods of the main and side characters than in previous versions. Li Mo Chou’s back story is fleshed out and you both feel pity for her but can understand why her man left her. Little XLN is very cute, young Guo Fu is too smug for my taste (which is in line with her adult character). I love this version’s young Yang Guo; a total rascal but there’s many glimpses of his kind heart. The roly poly young Yang Guo in 2006 version was very unappealing.

I personally call it the 3 phases with Yumama’s productions. 1) Bashing (Pre) 2) Curiosity (Premiere) 3) Anger (@Ending).

I like DLing from AVV because of the quality. I was watching “HD” 720p versions on YT and they were still too grainy.

I would really want to DL this but with no sub, what the uses. So far I’ve watched bit and pieces, and not bad. I like Huang Rong so far, she still “fun”. The little kids are so cute and adorable. Can’t stand the kid in 2006 Yang Guo.
Also, was so looking forward to the cameo but there was nothing. Was hoping for more to it.

I have a feeling she isn’t going to have much screen time in wuzetian though. I don’t like all the colors in ludingji but I’ll watch Viann’s parts for sure. Hope you guys will be working on them

I think I am the only one that think the beginning is so ridiculous! The martial skills are such an eye swore here, and what is up with the ice sculpture people, everyone dies so easily lol. Viann looks very pretty here, I am not sure about her acting, it appears off. Everything was so rushed, I guess they need to fast forward to the new generation. HY is so playful here, I think the actress is cute, but her looks seem to mature to be playful. I don’t mind the crazy change, of character and stories, but everything appears rush and doesn’t sail smoothly. Well Looking forward to MCF and HYS story lol.
P.s I believe a more mature voice also dubbed LYF voice in the 06 version, there was also compliments on that, I wonder if they used the same lady to dubbed this new version.

viann is not the type to act cute so it was cringe-worthy in certain parts. i think she’s better 10 years later with the new fierce look. her face is just perfection. the cold type ~~

interesting, a deep voice dubbing LYF’s innocent face. sounds hilarious but if it works, 95% yumama will copy.

I’ve fallen in love with this series so far.. I’ve watched 2006 version but I love this 2014-2015 version more…quite sad so many people dislike this version…but I know, different people have different taste… 🙂 i’m looking forward for the next next episodes…
