Trailer and stills for George Hu and Tony Yang’s film Where the Wind Settles

I wrote about this movie way back in April and the production dropped a trailer some weeks ago. Used to be known as Family in the Wind (my translation), it is now officially called Where the Wind Settles, a film that follows the lives of two friends as they struggle during war times to build and maintain a family. Tony Yang takes center stage and would be old and sorrowful about leaving his wife and child behind before he meets his son years later in the form of Mason Lee. While our George Hu is not the main lead, he should have a decent amount of screen time being the best friend.

Stills:

Georgie looks handsome with the stache. Tony manages to look the same despite what’s he wearing.

Trailer:

  • Love the music and love what I saw from each actor. Missed George Hu on my screen!!
  • Looks like there is a love rectangle going on. Miss Alice hugging Tony from behind while Georgie stares longingly at her in one scene? But of course, Hayden is Tony’s true love. I hope this does not drag out. You’re not a drama! šŸ˜›
  • Slated for a release in 2015. No exact date. BUHHHHHHHHHH.

love me some handsome men with stache and uniform!!

i thought hayden and amber were sisters before this. they look alike except one has short hair and one has long hair.

funny you said it like that, tony yang does look the same in almost all productions. its amazing and somewhat limiting his acting.

Amber Kuo and her real life boyfriend Tony Yang together in a movie?! It will be more interesting if they also play as a couple in that movie, haha! But anyways, I’ve been loving George Hu in his currently airing drama, Love Cheque Charge. The movie looks good but it also seems like there’s a lot of love triangle, full of angst.

I noticed that real couples rarely star in a drama or movie together after they announce their dating. Unless you’re Nicky and Liu Shi Shi. Lol.

Mason looks so much better in the trailer than in the photos. He looks like a hobo!! XD

Actually they were in a movie together before after their drama Love Forward (where they got together). Can’t remember the exact title of that movie but they’re definitely not worried about being in the same movie/drama together even if they’re a real couple.

As for LSS and Nicky, when they filmed BBJX and Incisive Teacher, they weren’t together yet (or at least get their relationship known to the public) but since these dramas aired a lot later, by the time their drama starts to air, they’ve already made their relationship public and thus, we have the impression that they star in the same drama so many times after they get together.

I don’t think they were worried of being seen together, just wanting to keep personal and work life at a distance, which is a good thing for certain couples. I wouldn’t want to work with my boyfriend when he kisses another girl. Nope! haha!

I followed LSSXNW for a long while and they’re definitely together judging from the secret pictures and stuff released in fans forums. Lol. But of course, by the time their dramas air, it seems like…years? šŸ˜›
