Oh, this better be a Game Changer. Love Shanghai Bund! Who could forget that legendary theme song. I enjoyed both Chow Yun-fat and Huang Xiaoming version, hopefully this “fresh angle” won’t be a mess. Or else I will have a lot to poke at come the day of review. 😛
Hope they keep the theme song in there somewhere. It’s a timeless piece.

Gao Xixi is back on board and with him having directed the drama series with HXM, there’s the likeliest chance he knows what he’s doing this time around too but yes, massive fan of the original.

not a lot of chinese actors could give strong feeling to the heavy long coat. peter is one of the few. huang zi tao looks better with the suits and tux.

I’d like see some photographs of real old-time Shanghai gangsters – I’m pretty sure there was never such a good looking gang. On the plus side, Peter Ho!
