Anyone Thai Fans out there interested in telling me more about this handsome Thai Actor Push Puttichai? He’s currently listed as the male lead opposite Song Yi in a modern love drama called Super Star: The Counter Attack Star Shine (逆袭之星途闪耀) from an author who goes by the name of Wo Shi YT. I have been waiting to see confirmation before posting and it looks true that Push will head to China soon. The backdrop of the drama is set in the showbiz business, following our female lead as she chases after a male star (second lead) that she admires, admitting herself into the male lead’s company instead. I think I got this part right. Lol.

Nah he already rose to stardom before the Ugly Duckling series. The two dramas that catapulted him were Leh Nang Fah and Fun Fueng (where he starred with his current girlfriend)

He is a very good actor. I have seen a couple of his Thailand dramas and he acted really well in them. He is very handsome, easy the eyes and has a great looking body. I will be very interested in this drama when it comes out.

OMG! I adore Push! Definitely preferred him over Mike. Mike looks creepy to me lol. I guess he’ll be the second Thai actor to enter the China drama market. The drama is another typical rom-com, so I most likely will not watch it.

Push! I just watched several of his dramas over the last two weeks and am officially a fan. He’s gorgeous to look at and his acting is actually pretty good! So, I’m really glad he’s branching out. Hopefully this drama won’t disappoint!
And for anyone who’s interested, I definitely recommend checking out “Ugly Duckling: Perfect Match” I love his character. Plus the drama is a breezy watch and the official YouTube channel even have English subtitles 😉

For those who don’t know him, Push is very active on social media (his Instagram) and it’s translated by a fan account as well. He likes to call himself the actor who really kisses (because sometimes Thai lakorns don’t show much) – and he’s very comfortable touching his co-stars as well. He does a lot of charity work as well.
I wonder is this announcement has anything to do with the current slowdown in the Thai entertainment industry due to the death of their monarch? I know shows inside Thailand are on hold for filming and broadcasting for a bit during the mourning period.
Push doesn’t always do nice characters – His Kongpob in Roy Leh Sanae Rai is a right bastard! His acting is very convincing.

I’m not sure about the slowdown. The news was announced a few weeks back and I waited until a few days ago when Thai Princess (aka Frea, lol) told me he’s preparing to leave for China soon, which confirmed the news on my end. 🙂

@kappy: I’ve watched Ugly Duckling Series with DJ Push before Love 020 and he has the same Vibe as Xiao Nai. He plays a role as handsome university student in Ugly Duckling and I won’t be mind seeing him if Thai ever remaking love 020 one day ^_^

LOVE LOVE LOVE P’Push!!!!!! He really is an amazing actor. I do think the Thai actors and actresses are quite underrated compared to Korean and Chinese but glad to see him crossing into Cdramaland like Mike. However I’m surprised that other p’eks (Male Lead in Thai) like Mario Maurer and Nadech Kugimiya haven’t crossed into Cdramaland but Pong Nawat was in Ma Ke drama Revive earlier this year. I wouldn’t mind seeing a China-Thailand collaboration in the future
