Synopsis: Gong Xi (Ivy Chen) sacrificed her life to support her boyfriend, Bu Puo Shang (Lee Dong Hae), so he could become a successful singer. One day, Shang suddenly breaks up with Gong Xi, leaving her with nothing, and Gong Xi vows revenge. She decides to delve into the entertainment world and become even more successful than Shang to get back at him. Gong Xi therein meets Dun He Lian (Choi Si Won), another actor in her agency, who helps motivate her to become a top entertainer (Credit: Wiki).

    @ Angelic: I think Donghae wasn't exactly fit my image of Sho, I don't know what it is maybe he needs to be a little cooler I think. There wasn't a lot of Siwon so I can't say how his Ren is yet but so far, the first episode look promising. It follows the book for the most parts. And Ivy Chen looks better than I thought.

    I thought not many people were goin to watch this bein a TWNdrama and all – till i saw the eye candy of course and its actually not too bad for a TWNdrama. First time seeing Ivy Chen and i like her, the guys are ok – Siwon’s just a little stiff and has only one facial expression but i still like him. Never liked Bianca Bai and it seems like that wont change.
    This drama is nice and light and fluffy – the laugh out loud moments i adore. The president of the company’s eccentric, he’s too funny espec ep 5 with the camel! LOL! Thanks Jeff, am enjoyin this one 😀

      Haha I haven’t even started this drama yet. All this studying and file hosts dying has gotten me drained! I’m mainly watching because of Siwon and Donghae, but like you said of Ivy, I’ve been hearing good reports about her! I will be enjoying this one… in the hopefully near future ^^

      Hey yoruko, you’ll actually need to piece the two files together with a third party program, such as HJSplit, 7-zip or FFSJ ^^

      (depending on which two parts you download, you may have to extract it from a zip file too)

      I personally enjoy using FFSJ. ^ , ^ v I’ve been using this program for ages. There’s a full/standard version or a lite version all FREE. I do notice there are hyperlinks for these free softwares in the FAQ’s section in the header for your convenience yoruko.

      You should try using a different media player, or updating your codecs. I use Real Alternative 1.80 (a codec) with Gom player to play rmvb files (:

    Hi 🙂 Thank you guys so very much for the mp4 versions and for uploading this amazing show~<3 I was just wondering… if episode 9 is working for everyone? The start of the video it cuts out a bit & the withs2 subs don't show up at all with the episode ~~~ but the rest of the series works fine 🙁 Please help!

      I noticed you went over to WS2 and asked about their subs. Nice call. Yes, the preview beginning of E09 did get cut out a bit other than that everything works fine and also WS2 subs align perfectly on GOMplayer for me so I didn’t experience what you did on your mac.

        Yes 😀 The QC for the team @ WithS2 sorted out my problem :3 There was a problem that had to be fixed xD I’m new to mac so I always ask for help before trolling the net for answers 🙁

      Hmmm, good question. I think it’s easier to dub them and sell the rights off to a wider Chinese speaking audience than anything else. There are billions of us anyways. That’s a marketing solution. Another way of looking at this, the story flow sounds better in one dialect than multiple counts combined. That’s an artistic viewpoint.

      You may say, well, in Fondant Garden the actors try both Korean and Mandarin, so why can’t Skip Beat? Their story line is set up differently than this one so it’s more possible.

      Take it as a grain of salt, and look forward to more collaborations to come. ^ , ^

        Well its just annoying me more because i’ve only watched 3 TW drama’s in total 😐 This one being the third :.< Are they gonna do a second series? I'm on episode 12 and OMG… IDK how they are gonna end it ;_; Need to wait for 14 to be uploaded also so after episode 13 i'll try out The Strongest K-Pop Survival :3 Oh and this site is FRIGGIN fantastic!!!
