Because you guys need more choices in dramas…
=======> ♦ My Dear Brothers (亲爱的吾兄) with Zhao Ying Bo, Dai Yun Fan, and Wu Qian Ying to air 9/15. It is adapted from the novel written by You Qian and is about Brothers wanting to protect their sister, well, there’s a fake brother involved too. Our heroine and her elder brother are separated and she finds himself in an alternate universe, where she’s the younger sister of the Demon Lord (her brother). While everyone wants to kill her, she wants to find her brother. In the darkness, her brother’s enemy, played by Zhao Ying Bo, protects her. Are you confused yet?
=======> ♦ On the Way to Hope (在希望的田野上) with Cao Jun and An Yue Xi to air 9/15. Awww, Cao Jun! Another child actor I remember from his early days in Vicki Zhao’s Treasure Venture, Vincent Jiao’s Lotus Lantern. It’s been so long. The story here follows our hero as he makes a path of understanding and helping the poverty that wrecks the countryside for many years.
Pw to View: hope
=======> ♦ Definitely Not Today (今天不是最后一天) with Liang Jing Kang and Vivienne Tien to air 9/15. A short mini drama with 8 episodes with the focus on healing. An unlikely friendship forms between a man with extreme social anxiety and depression who wants to commit suicide by drowning and a extrovert woman who is saved by the said man when she tries to drown herself in the same river.
=======> ♦ Your Sensibility My Destiny (公子倾城) with Bu Guan Jin and Wang Xing Yue to air 9/16. The plot sounds funny and it’s adapted from the novel written by Wei He Zong Zi. Our heroine has a horrible sense of direction (me?!) and while running away from the bad guys, she hops onto the hero’s carriage. The key here is that our hero has no senses and emotions, making him aloof and detached. However, after a touch by the heroine, he’s able to begin feeling emotions. Ruh Roh, I’ll say!
