[Fav. Scenes] Cinderella’s Sister Ep. 7

PLEASE DO NOT HOTLINK THE IMAGES!! Credit this blog if taken out!! thanks!

Hello everyone! It feels good to be updating again! 🙂 One thing I would like to inform you all is my decision to not recap episodes any longer. It takes a huge amount time for a non-Korean like me. I think everyone would rather watch the episode with subtitles then read my lengthy summary (I do too!). So from now onward, I will only be picking out scenes I like from the episode. Hope you all understand.

On with Cinderella’s Sister Episode 7!

– Following from last episode, father Daesung does indeed overhear the conversation between Eun Jo and Kang Sook. As expected from his personality, he closes the door quietly and wobbles down the aisle with Eun Jo trailing behind him. Up until now, Eun Jo hasn’t used any labels yet on father Daesung or Ki Hoon so here we see her struggling trying to call out to get father’s attention. Because she’s usually approached by these men, initiating a conversation is tough task.

Weakly, Eun Jo calls out: “Excuse me…Excuse me…” Father turns around and waves for her to leave. When she insists on following him, he stops.

Daesung: “I feel sad and bitter having my thoughts confirmed through those words. But it’s not like I didn’t know. You thought I didn’t know? Your mother’s heart towards me?” He places a hand on Eun Jo’s shoulder. “I have to go to the factory. You and your mom take the taxi home. Don’t let your mom know that I heard your conversation. If she finds out, she’ll feel the need to work hard to cover that up. I don’t want to see her doing that.”

Awwww 🙁 Someone please give him an award for being the best stepfather ever! EVER! I think he knows too, maybe subconsciously. His heart might have noticed but his brain have failed to bring the truth into consideration.

– Eun Jo didn’t leave him though. She follows him to the factory and into the office. She asks what she has to do from now on. Daesung’s answer made me teary.

Father Daesung: “Don’t leave me.” ;(

– Another scene that I really liked is when Ki Hoon spills out his feelings towards Hyo Sun’s whining behavior. He basically tells her that if she doesn’t want things taken from her, fight for it, protect her possession. He also emphasizes that Eun Jo didn’t take anything from her because she didn’t have any to start off with. Stunned at his harsh words, Hyo Sun comes him for a hug, he pushes her out, telling her he won’t let her depend on him.

Lastly, Ki Hoon adds, “Grow up quickly. Quickly.”

However, I think the best line has got to be this: “I’m not yours, you little punk!” HAHA! Thank-you for saying that Ki Hoon! Now, repeat it every now and then.

– The writers give us a little symbolism! I hope the ending isn’t hinted here! While the boys are engaged in kicking the ball, it lands right next to Eun Jo. She picks it up to see both Jung Woo and Ki Hoon extending their hands to retrieve the ball… I totally awwed when she passes the ball to the man in the middle, father Daesung!! You can see he’s flustered and happy! HOHO! Who need you boys when you have a perfect father? Does this suggest the ending? Career over men? What do you guys think? And you cannot say Eun Jo doesn’t care about Hyo Sun, she urges Ki Hoon to hurry up because, “Hyo Sun is by herself!” at the factory… aww.. ;D

– Our main leads also share another staring contest, late that night. As usual, no talk.

Jung Woo is seriously my happy pill for this drama, accompanied by his perfect toothy smile, I can cry buckets for the other characters. He’s so cute when Eun Jo informs that they are going to find Hyo Sun’s uncle together! He probably hits the 9th stage of heaven as he repeats, “To-together?” =D

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
– He’s caught sneaking glances at Eun Jo…hoho!! Then they stop by for lunch and while eating, Jung Woo purposely snatches away her food with his hand.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Jung Woo: “A long time ago, someone was cutting kimchi, and when I tried to snatch one, she would glare at me and slap my hand away.” Eun Jo looks at him curiously. “I’m just saying that was how it worked…” She gets up to leave. “Why don’t you eat? You and I never left any food on the plate, remember? Sit and finish eating.” He looks up at her and says in his heavy accent, “Nuna. I told you didn’t I? Wherever you’re living, I will find you and no matter what..and your life…” Unable to contain his happiness, he lets out a HUGE goofy smile!! *dies*

Eun Jo cracks a surprise and maybe a tiny smile, “You’re saying you’re THAT Hang Jung Woo?

Standing up, Jung Woo replies, “I was wondering when you’re gonna recognize me. You sure recognize quickly, Nuna.”

Eun Jo: “You’re that Jung Woo?”

Jung Woo: “I am!” OMG! His accent is sooo cute! *spazzes*

Outside, Jung Woo asks, “You still don’t believe me? I’m really that Jung Woo.”

Eun Jo: “Why didn’t you say anything until now?”

Jung Woo: “I told you, I was waiting for you to recognize me. But you didn’t seem to recognize me at all. Impatient, I told you. If I didn’t say anything, you would’ve never recognized me huh?”

Eun Jo: “How could I recognize you…that this Jung Woo is that Jung Woo?”

Jung Woo‘s ego pumps up to the next level as he states, “Because I have gotten cooler so your heart is racing right?” Yesh..she agrees!

Eun Jo: “You’ll get hit if you keep this up.”

Jung Woo throws his head back onto the car seat, “Hit me! I want to get hit unconsciously by your hands!” Oh….we have a punching bag here? But secretly, she smiles! HOHO Smiling nonstop for the past 5 minutes!

The last scene had me giggling non-stop. After they are unable to find the culprit – Hyo Sun’s uncle, the two sit in front of a lake to talk. This is when Jung Woo gives Eun Jo the money he has saved up during his service in the Navy – his salary and such. Now tell me, exactly how many men LOOK this happy while giving up his hard-earned money? Not many! ^_-

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Eun Jo: “But why are you giving me this?”

Jung Woo: “Because I saved it up to give it to you Nuna.”

Eun Jo: “So why did you save it up to give it to me?”

Jung Woo looks down: *to himself* – This girl…why is she so dense? and then asks her, “Are you asking because you don’t know? If I were to get my salary from my first job, who do you think I should give it to? Hmm?”

Finally, Eun Jo agrees to keep it until he decides to use it for marriage. What a bummer Eun Jo! X)
