– Gosh! It looks like father Daesung’s health is deteriorating from fatigue, age and overall chaos that happened lately. Eun Jo thinks it’s because of her and Kang Sook’s bad destinies that are affecting Daesung. As for Kang Sook, the woman must have developed some feelings for this good-hearted man. It is expected isn’t it? How could you share a bed with someone for 8 long years and not feel anything for that person? Right?

– A soft moment for us viewers that bring back the memories from 8 years ago. While running to the factory, Eun Jo falls, and like the past, she quickly stands up and continues. Ki Hoon behind lets out a “sigh” as if saying “that little girl is still there…” Aw!

At the factory, father Daesung flaunts his new ski suit (that Eun Jo bought for him).

Father Daesung: “I’m wearing this,” and spreads out his arms.

Eun Jo: “Yes…”

Father Daesung wants more than her mere “Yes” and asks, “Doesn’t it look pretty?”

Eun Jo hesitates but I have a feeling she would’ve said another “yes” if Hyo Sun didn’t answer.

You know I hate it when the writer throws in scene to confuse the viewers about the pairing. Effort from last episode telling Hyo Sun he’s not hers all goes down the drain in one second! Arggg. Ki Hoon and Hyo Sun have an argument about her sealing a contract by selling off her smile. He doesn’t like it and tells her it’s the wrong way to do business. During the ride home, they engage in a near-death situation. Turning his car to the side, Ki Hoon quickly unbuckles his seat belt and reaches over to protect Hyo Sun from any harm. Oh boy…

Ki Hoon: “Are you okay? Are you okay?… Are you okay?” Hyo Sun stares wide-eyed at her superman, unable to mumble a word.

Hyo Sun, panting, whispers, “My heart…”

Ki Hoon: “What about your heart? Does it hurt? Can you breathe?”

Hyo Sun, in her head, “My heart is beating so fast, Oppa…My heart is beating rapidly…” *Alice smacks herself in the head…oiiii*

At home, our happy pill, Jung Woo, is making breakfast for his nuna, who is sleeping at the lab. The next part is funny, he doesn’t understand Kang Sook at ALL! HAHA!

Jung Woo: “You weren’t coming home, so I was wondering whether you’re eating. Also, your mom said she was wondering whether you’re eating…” He shows Eun Jo the food packages, hinting that Kang Sook made them for her. What a cute lie but Eun Jo knows her lazy mother too well.

Eun Jo: “My mom?”

At the table, Eun Jo eats heartily, with Jung Woo smiling like a puppy just looking at her.

Jung Woo: “Is it tasty? It’s tasty right?”

Eun Jo: “You cook well.” You’re busted happy pill!

Jung Woo: “It’s…it’s not me. It was ahjumma.”

Eun Jo: “My mom doesn’t do these kind of things, she never did. Don’t lie to me. I’m sure my mom thinks I’m at home sleeping right now.”

Then the question of HOW he found her is raised. He was in the bathroom doing his business, while reading a magazine. He saw her in the picture and immediately called Hyo Sun’s uncle after he was released to get him a job there – twice every day.

The scene is such a MESS, with everyone biting, punching, pushing, slapping and pulling. Yep, it all happened in a 2 minute time frame, or was it 1? While father Daesung is all about relationship and feeling, Eun Jo is not one to let Hyo Sun’s uncle, Hae Jin off so easily. She insists on taking him to the police station with Jung Woo by her side, unsure of what to do.

Eun Jo: “Come with me, you have to take responsibility for what you did!”

Hyo Sun sees everything and tries to help her uncle, but she bites his hand – the wrong one! Then she proceeds to bite Eun Jo’s…hoho…Hearing Eun Jo’s scream, Jung Woo pulls Hyo Sun away. THIS is when Ki Hoon arrives and tries to break off the push-and-pull between Eun Jo and Hae Jin but he uses too much force causing Eun Jo to fall. Then, Jung Woo angrily gives Ki Hoon a punch, but before Ki Hoon returns the punch, Hyo Sun defensively slaps Jung Woo across the face! WHOA!

– With this commotion, the uncle thinks he could get away but is quickly grabbed by Eun Jo. Hyo Sun runs to Eun Jo and grabs her sister’s shoulders.

Hyo Sun: “How dare you tell him to confess?! My father forgave him! My father forgave him!” Without giving in, Eun Jo pushes Hyo Sun away, again the latter falls to the ground. She quickly stands up and prepares to give Eun Jo a slap when Jung Woo catches her arm.

Jung Woo: “Who is this CHICK?” HAHAH XD

Ki Hoon snatches Jung Woo’s arm: “Let go of her!”

And behold, the voice of authority comes in, father Daesung: “What are you all doing?!”

– Tears of shame, embarrassment, and guilt stream down Eun Jo’s face as she quickly runs off. Ki Hoon initiates to run after her but is stopped by Hyo Sun. Seeing this, Jung Woo runs out. ARG! I’m so angry! If Ki Hoon really wants to comfort her, he could’ve easily done so. If you can begin but can’t continue, that’s a failure. Really.

– In her next drama, Moon Geun Young should take on a role as an athlete, better yet a tracker. With her skinny legs, the girl can sure speeds. Long legs Jung Woo catches up to her.

Eun Jo screams her lungs off, “Let go! Let go of me!”

Jung Woo does the sweetest thing of all. He says, “I got it, I got it. You are running out of breath. I will run instead of you. Where do you want to run to? Up to there?”

With that he scoops the tiny, and hurt Eun Jo into his arms and speeds down the road! *squeals non-stop!* When he almost trips over a rock, Eun Jo wraps her arms around his neck tighter – this gesture brightens Jung Woo’s face. (mine too..!!)

I’m sorry Ki Hoon, but you have to do something better than that lip-locking of yours eight years ago because I’m sold and Eun Jo smiles for the first time! YOU HEAR ME?

Jung Woo: “You forgot why you were upset, right?”

Eun Jo: “Yes. I did. Why?”

Jung Woo: “Your tears dried up too, right?”

Eun Jo: “Yes.”

Jung Woo: “Then can I do a show for you?”

– She smiles at the goofy monkey-man’s dances. Her smile is not only because of the grown up Jung Woo, but it brings back the innocence of the little Jung Woo as well, therefore, we see a double version of both. AWW!

However, my smile soon faded when the camera zooms out and we see Ki Hoon, watching a smiling Eun Jo from far way. Making her smile is something he wasn’t able to do, even 8 years ago! OMG! The pain!

– I really liked this moment of Hyo Sun’s character. It reflects an innate evilness within all of us. Whether or not we let the devil takes charge is another story. I’m glad Hyo Sun remain on top of the game. 😀

I didn’t really enjoy the next scene when both Eun Jo and Ki Hoon express the nonchalant attitude towards each other’s feeling. It is a PAIN! Oh writers why? WHY? Just lock them up already!

– Briefly, Eun Jo summarizes that she has no problem with separation, once the person is out of her sight, so are the feelings. Acting crazy over a man is not her “thang”! Later, in the wine cellar, Ki Hoon calls her a liar, she’s NOT like that. He is. Therefore, he wants her to think of him as non-existent. Why are you being so philosophical and contradicting writers? How could any of us treat him as air if he’s walking around, breathing and eating 24/7? I hate these kind of lines the MOST!
