And 13 years later, they once again stood on the same stage, looking sharper than ever. I never realize how soft-spoken and low Zai Zai’s voice is until I saw their interview, which is playful, even without translation. A summary anyone? I’m ready to whip out my Dvds for Meteor Garden and just bite my lips at the terrible fashion back in the days. The 2000 version might not be the purrttiest but boy did it hit all the right notes that I wished were in later adaptations. You’re right, first loves are unforgettable.

ACK~ for realzzzz! I too will ask the universe to please let there be an F4 Reunion World Tour 2013.
Now, I will spazz about the guys:
Jerry ~ He will always be the one who looks the most awkward onstage ’cause he is a very sensitive person, who many times can’t let himself freely enjoy the stage nor allow himself to receive love from the crowd. I feel sorry for him. He looks so stressful and way too tired. I feel sad for “lil’ white rabbit” most of the times.
Ken ~ He will always be the guy who looks like he doesn’t give a s-hit (LOL), however he is the only one who speaks eloquently on behalf of the group. He’s the most honest and blunt soul in the group, but sometimes people interpret Ken as the bad character in the group for what he’s not, and that makes him my favorite for his strong persona.
Vanness ~ He will always be the guy who likes to be the overachiever in the group. He HAD to be the red chili pepper, or else he would wear an open shirt. That’s simply his style… plus he loves to remind us he’s a good choir boy adding extra notes to a perfect song or two. =P This guy is the attention hogger. So not pretty; he’s my least favorite in the group.
Vic ~ He will always be the adorable εε with the calm and smoothest voice in the group. I think of him as the medium which keeps the group together. He’s the most easy going joker card for his fellow bandmates to play with. (It’s so funny the guys agree that Vic is the one who likes to keep his band members ‘hangin’ and cancel meetups. Ken reads people very well, and I too think Vic of like a time bomb who sporadically won’t take any more of your crap one day so he’ll just leave you hangin… for life XD. i.e. his breakup w/ Barbie)
Anyhow, the interview was entertaining. Harlem always gives an awesome performance. He totally pumped the crowd… and me up. The stage setup is amazing… and I agree w/ you Kappy, I love the Milky Ways theme a whole lots. OMG-sh, the lovey dovey couple at 3m33s into The First Time are so adorable, right?

Aww Keane, very thoughtful analysis of F4. I didn’t really know Jerry is a sensitive guy! Although I did find him looking very uncomfortable on stage and Vic moving in to smooth the rough edges. And Jerry’s voice is rarely heard when they’re singing together. Vanness strikes me as the most flashy one, Mr. Red Pepper, and like you said, Ken’s talkative and appropriately so. π
Eaachh, the files are quite big. I’ll wait to see if there’s more interest.

vanness’ popularity has a lot to do with autumn concerto. before that, i wouldn’t see him as that handsome. he’s still my least favorite though.
vic sounds very gentleman-like. something about that voice. ken is a chatterbox and jerry is sensitive for such a manly image. LOL
F4 will always be the original f4!!

Among the four, Jerry just finished filming a TV drama 3 days before recording the Jiangsu TVβs Spring Festival Gala, so he was the one with least rest before the trip to Bejing. Besides, his got a sty on his left eye on the day before the Gala recording due to long-hours filming the drama, that was probably why he wore sunglasses off stage and has the bang covered his left eye. Of course, 20 min was not long enough for Jerry to warm up; he is a SLOW COOKER. lol.

I remember how I marathoned the entire drama with my best friend in one day and only slept at 8am in the morning. We bundled up together to watch this during the cold winter with only one electric heater for the entire house and shared one single bed together afterwards. It was our version of “drama camping”. LOL My best friend is no longer here and I miss her terribly. This drama contains our memories of the good ol’ times. Whenever I see the Taiwanese F4 and/or Meteor Garden, it reminds me of my best friend. She has left us all. This is the reason why I had never re-watched this drama even though it is a good one. π

btw, i have been looking for meteor rain piano sheet and season of fireworks (yan huo de ji jie) piano sheet. Does anyone have the sheets? i really need it… can anyone help me please? I have searched everywhere but I couldn’t find them T_T
