Keane: Before you go MIA because this is a melodrama, I want to encourage all of you to watch this show. It’s well written and the cast at first don’t really attract me however as the story of episode one unfolds I see a charm in the whole entire cast. I initially was drawn by the story setup, then I recognized the nekkid guy from Last Cinderella. I have friends and family whom have disabilities not by choice, so you can say this is one of my weaknesses. Last but not least, I can squeeze this show in my busy life because Jdoramas are usually shorter than other drama series. I can live with that. 🙂

    Really hope this one isn’t a manufactured tear festival like many other japanese dramas about illnesses. Miura Haruma is love. 🙂

    Yes, yes. The nekkid guy in the frustrating LC!

    Disease-centered dramas…. I didn’t watch 1 litre of tears and people either hate it or love it. Waiting to hear people’s opinions about this one.

    I’m also looking forward to a few jdramas: S ~ Saigo no Keikan, Nezumi, Edo o Hashiru, and Ashita, Mama ga Inai. Hopefully, jdramas don’t disappoint this season!

    I didn’t recognize the girl in the poster but when I started watching the first ep I recognized her as the heroine in Kimi Ni Todoke the Movie. Weee~ my babies are reunited! All the more reason to stick to this dorama. ^^

    O_O <— my reaction to both shower scenes in ep2. OMG!!! Is it my birthday already? haha. What a tease, that guy!!! Let's start tallying now!

    I'm going to see this through! I'm aboard this ship until the end. Please share with me your box of tissue for the tears to come! (Haven't watched ep 3 yet, I hear that's where the cry-fest start??)

    It’s a race between shinchae and me finishing this finale. My weeps have been consistent. I was expecting to bawl into a fetus position but that hasn’t happened… yet. Finale bomb? Let me unleash all my ugly, runny nose n’ disheveled look, for this ending. I need a stress reliever. Kiikii~~

    Are you done yet, Keane? Real life has caught me up again in it’s drama so I haven’t watch the finale yet. Currently DLing the ep as I write this comment. What happened to Takuto??? Wait… don’t answer that. Let me experience the paiiiiiiin.

      The 10 mins. finale intro was AMAZING. I wept as usual. I’m gonna finish this in a bit during lunch break.

      UPDATE: Aww, a hopeful ending. He chose to live on a ventilator. Tough choice, because if I were in his shoes I lean more towards not being on it. I like the ending since he had so much support from his family and friends it was a perfect ending. Takuto will live on, and live well, unless he gets a horrid infection or pneumonia. He’s well taken cared for so he can live close to an average human can live, decades longer. That in itself is a miracle. Bittersweet series. Loved it!

    Yosh! Takuto chose to live! *high five* I prepared myself for a tragic end and I’m so glad it didn’t go there. Takuto is blessed to have those people in his life. It’s a beautiful drama and all the tears were worth it.
