Royal Nirvana with Luo Jin and Li Yi Tong to air 12-episode Special Epilogue

A year after the series ended, we now have, hopefully, a proper ending. It’s based on the novel written by Xue Man Liang Yuan and if the drama follows the novel, it is most likely a sad ending. I didn’t watch Royal Nirvana last year so have no idea where they ended the series. But the additional 12 episodes are not newly filmed. The original was edited/cut so now we are getting the unaired footage compiled.

Airing 9/22!

Li Yi Feng, Chen Yu Qi, and Zheng Ye Cheng confirmed as leads in Mirror Twin Cities

Finally officially confirmed! Lol.

Mirror: Twin Cities (镜双城) is based on the novel written by Cang Yue (Listening Snow Tower). It’s the first novel in her Mirror series. Persisting war in Central Plains forces optimistic Miao girl named Na Sheng to leave her home and wanting to escape the chaos of the world by going to an otherworldly fairy land, known as Desolate Clouds. During this journey, she meets many interesting characters, including our male lead, Su Mo, who is a blind masterful Puppeteer and carries around 2-foot high puppet he refers to as his brother, A Nuo. But is Desolate Clouds really a peaceful utopia as told from generation to generation? I guess not because what awaits our heroine is turmoil and bloodshed among many races and peoples.

First Impression: What do you think of The Killing of Three Thousands Crows with Zhao Lu Si and Zheng Ye Cheng?

The Killing of Three Thousands Crows (三千鸦杀) is adapted from the novel by Shi Si Lang and stars Zheng Ye Cheng and Zhao Lu Si in a romance that started ten lifetimes ago. She’s the princess of a fallen nation, The Great Yan. To save her own people from enslavement, she vows to find the magical lamp. During her search, she hides out at Xiang Qu Mountain and works there as a servant under the constant teasing of our male lead. Our hero turns out to be the lamp wick to the magical lamp. When the lamp is lit, he will disappear. At the same time, the person who lights the lamp will also be sacrificed! This is an interesting twist. So they are both dead? Lol. I can’t tell you more than that….won’t be fun for your journey. xD

Begins airing today 3/19!

Luo Jin and Li Yi Tong struggle between duty and love in Royal Nirvana

Looks like this could be a decent drama? Luo Jin leads the Royal Nirvana as the Crown Prince whose merits are deemed as a threat to the current King and he struggles to be a dutiful son and crown prince at the same time. On the other hand, the king’s illegitimate son played by Jin Han furtively plants traps to dislodge his brother off the royal chair. In one of his schemes, he frames his brother for the death of an official, setting official’s daughter (Li Yi Tong) on a path of vengeance against his brother.

EDIT: Such a quiet premiere (thanks Lenje!), it started airing on 11/11, 3 new episodes every Monday and Thursday.
