It is premiering on qq on March 8th, for those who are still interested in their modern selves with money and super powers. How unfair life is. Lol.
Why a spinoff? Because 62 episodes isn’t enough to tell the story? Cdramas, we need to talk about the new lengths you guys are reaching for in terms of dragging out storylines! The next downside is removing the female lead and replacing her with a new face. That never ends well with original fans. The irony of the order of posts to come out. Upcoming Japan and China collaborated sci-fi movie, Yao Mao Zhuan aka The Legend of Cat Demon (妖猫传) releases its first batch of stills. The story is inspired from Yumemakura Baku’s novel, “Samon Kukai Tou no Kuni nite Oni to Utagesu,” following the investigation of a cat demon and the mysterious deaths during the Tang Dynasty with the climax being the forecast of the emperor’s death. Japanese actor Shota Sometani (XXXHOLiC) is set to play the monk and Huang Xuan (The Interpreter) will join hands as a poet in charge of unveiling supernatural occurrences. A lot of time, budget, and effort were spent to polish the script and build a masterpiece set.
