Awww man, our Mr. Smile aka Shawn Dou Xiao will be doing another modern drama… but it sounds so dark and gloomy! Hear me cry. It’s adapted from manga series Asunaro Hakusho (あすなろ白書 “Asunaro White Paper”) by Fumi Saimon.
I’m sure I read that this story is about the business industry (boring!) but the first teaser makes it quite exciting with Jin Han literally sweeping Zhao Li Ying off her feet and stealing hugs and one kiss (so far). There are also quite a few cameos from other celebrities. Can you catch them all? Lol. Our Glamorous Time (你和我的倾城时光) is adapted from Ding Mo‘s novel and our male lead returns home from the military to help his family from bankruptcy and is involved in a guaranteed sweet love story with our strong yet feminine female lead.

Our heroine is pretty lucky, she has many great men in her life. I think the trope of having many guys fall for the same girl is definitely overused but a good writer knows how to make the heroine work and a good actress will make you believe she’s the golden catch.
One character that is gaining quite a lot of love is Butler Wang Shi Jun played by actor Li Ze Feng for his “acting eyes.” He was in quite a number of good-of-mouth dramas: Lu Yi’s Grow Up, Wallace Huo’s Battle of Changsha, and Han Xue’s War Flowers. For a drama with 70 episodes, I didn’t think they would let Peter Ho go so early in the drama. T___T It was a career surprise and he rose to top search! Thy are so cruel, Show.
