Irresistible Kitty Tian Xi Wei charms Xu Kai in supernatural drama Moonlit Reunion

Moonlit Reunion (子夜归) is adapted from the novel The Daily Life Of Mei Furen Doting On Her Husband written by Fu Hua. I just realized as I write these two posts back-to-back, but how is the author feeling? Both her novel-to-drama adaptations are airing/competing with each other at the same time! Lol! Her other work is Salted Fish aka When Destiny Brings the Demon which I posted previously here.

The novel sounds interesting from the summaries that I have read. It’s more supernatural in a historical setting. Our leading couple both has two identities. In the morning, she’s a charming playgirl, approaching age 26 but is still unmarried, so she embraces the reputation to enjoy life. At night, she’s in charge of the Demon Market and can turn herself into a cat to explore and revel in the city’s night life.  She can afford this lifestyle because she’s the only sister to the Queen(?). She sounds awesome. Male lead, to the outsiders, is an upright and focused official, but at night he’s a powerful Taoist master. His life turns upside down when he catches our girl’s attention at her birthday party. He blushes a lot around her playful tactics.

THIS SOUNDS SO CUTE. ✔✔✔ This might be my priority drama now. 😻 😻 😻

First Stills Released for Romance of A Twin Flower with Ding Yu Xi and Peng Xiao Ran

Romance of A Twin Flower (春闺梦里人) is adapted from the novel The Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir written by Bai Lu Cheng Shuang. In the novel, she’s a woman in the modern world whose body transmigrated into the body of the second female lead in the novel that she’s reading. Second female lead is Male Lead’s abandoned first wife and the most villainous of them all. In the drama adaptation though, our heroine is a twin and has amnesia after an accident. And somehow magically finds herself replacing her twin sister in the Hou Manor, using her wits to solve many crises for the family and winning the heart of the Hou Young Master.

I think they will tame down our Male Lead in the drama version….because he’s not so nice in the novel and I see some novel fans questioning how the FL can even like him. Sounds like he’s misunderstood? But the things I read he did doesn’t sound like a misunderstanding. Lol. O.O
