HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I’m so glad it’s friday, I feel like a walking machine these past two weeks. Good thing my contract work for the summer will be over in two weeks so I can resume my normal work hours instead of these long shifts back to back to back…

Adulthood is hard. Enjoy your kiddiehood, my little friends. >.<”

New trailers for Rookie Agent Rouge and Our Ten Years

It’s a good day to be a Zhao Li Ying’s fan. Both of her productions decided to drop trailers for us! First official trailer for Rookie Agent Rouge (胭脂) with Lu Yi and another new trailer for her movie Our Ten Years (我们的十年) with Kimi Qiao and Gui Gui. Not only that, rumors are high that her drama Ji Xiang Tian Bao (吉祥天宝) with Zhu Zi Xiao and Kim Ki Bum will air exclusively as a webdrama on QQ sometime in June. I hope they know we are in June…. just saying. And on a side note, you hear that Nutella? Remember our promise? I might be growing more white hair nowadays, but I remember. hehe.

Another Promise of Marriage at 30: Aaron Yan to Gui Gui

After Wallace Huo and Hu Ge’s 5-year promise sprouted a new romance in the former’s life, I’m not surprised Promises of Wedding Bells is playing out in more ways than one. As mentioned before, Gui Gui is a member of the variety show, Crime Scene (明星大侦探), and the team recently reunited her with former co-star Aaron Yan, dressing them up as a republican couple. These two are so touchy-touchy!! In the brief promo clip for the another show, Idol Online (偶像萬萬碎), Aaron advises Gui Gui to get married to a mature guy who is at least 30, and when she inquires about him, he suggests a promise to marry her if she’s still unmarried at age 30. To further fan the romantic seed, he wonders where she wants to get married? Greece? Nope. She wants to go to Finland to see the Northern Lights. You two. Short clips of both shows are included after the jump (or after my imaginary storyline of them in a typical romcom.)

Stylish first trailer for The Legend of Flying Daggers

The news needs to slow down! I shut my eyes for four hours and more news comes out. The new adaptation of Gu Long’s novel has dropped its first English-subbed trailer. It’s three-minute long with an instrumental background, but keep your volume at a low level because at some point, Yang Rong lets out a high-pitched scream after her fallen lover, Hawick Lau. Girl hasn’t been watching wuxia dramas, no one dies falling off a cliff. heee!

Yang Rong’s gorgeous palace in Gu Long’s Flying Daggers

It’s only one still but if I had a palace house like Yang Rong in the latest remake of Gu Long’s The Legend of Flying Daggers, I would host my Thanksgiving and Christmas party there every year! Basically, I would never leave. Is everyone here all set for the big dinner tomorrow? Don’t head out to the grocery store because you’re most likely gonna get a black eye. Not pointing fingers but it was brutal last year. Lol. Happy Thanksgiving to our fellow drifters (~^_^~)! Remember to be thankful for what you have instead of the luxuries you don’t own (read: Black Friday is just around the corner! =P) There is a reason why you have those in the first place. Cherish them! =)
