Lie Huo Ru Ge wraps up filming with behind-the-scenes hard work

I don’t know about you guys but for me to distinguish Dilraba in her projects, I base on her hair and dress colors. Lol. Another one of her period drama, Lie Huo Ru Ge or The Flame’s Daughter (烈火如歌) has wrapped up filming on July 26th after 119 days alongside Vic Zhou, Zhang Bin Bin, and Liu Rui Lin. The drama is adapted from Ming Xiao Xi’s novel, featuring a love rectangle so tragic it might just turn out right, right? XD

*whisper: someone say no, please!*

Official Trailer for The Flame’s Daughter with Vic Zhou and Dilraba Dilmurat

Official trailer is out for Ming Xiao Xi‘s drama adaptation of The Flame’s Daughter (Lie Huo Ru Ge) and I’m not sure how I feel about this four-way romance turning out… The writer has never been on my list to watch… Everyone looks cool and all but there’s a lack of chemistry going on, which is very odd for this group of actors. Hopefully, it’s just a poorly edited trailer.

Lie Huo Ru Ge reveals posters for Vic Zhou, Zhang Bin Bin

Lie Huo Ru Ge (The Flame’s Daughter, 烈火如歌) is the drama adaptation of Ming Xiao Xi‘s novel, who also wrote Summer’s Desire and Taekwondo Girl. The twisty four-way romance has now confirmed the leads in Dilraba Dilmurat, Vic Zhou, Zhang Bin Bin, and Liu Rui Lin with their respective posters just hours ago.

Lie Huo Ru Ge’s Male Cast Rumor: Vic Zhou, Zhang Bin Bin, Liu Rui Lin

Lie Huo Ru Ge (The Flame’s Daughter, 烈火如歌) is the drama adaptation of Ming Xiao Xi‘s novel, who also wrote Summer’s Desire and Taekwondo Girl. After confirming the female lead as Dilraba Dilmurat in December, more names are dropped a few hours ago, and curiously, two are from Yang Mi’s studio (*wink wink*) and currently in Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossom. Still waiting on confirmation. But isn’t it funny how Yang Mi is entangled with the male leads from Taiwanese drama Black and White? First she’s romancing Mark Zhao, now her sister might take Vic Zhou. XD

Endless Promos: Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms

I can’t keep track of all the short and long promo videos of this drama anymore. When I saw the word final trailer, I napped that one immediately. I really don’t know why Chinese productions feel the need to show all their cards to the viewers before hand (the countless rounds of trailers). I think some fans like it but I really prefer not to see ALL the critical scenes play out in random order. Anyway, Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (三生三世十里桃花) will premiere on Sunday, January 29th, running for 58 episodes. Drama gods have mercy on our short-attention memory (aiming at me.)

Opening Themesongs: Three Lives Three Worlds, Glory of Tang Dynasty

Opening themesongs are revealed for two dramas that will be contending in the ratings game with General and I nearing its last leg of episodes. Smart move to air earlier. Yang Mi‘s Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and Jing Tian‘s Glory of the Tang Dynasty. On the one hand, I still do not feel much for the OTP of 3L3W but their secondary and tertiary couples are looking cute and their songs are pretty on the dot to steal my little heart. On the other hand, while Tang Dynasty is on the down low with promos, I’m more inclined to check it out, thanks largely to the intense trailer, Jing Tian’s charms, and the wagon of cast members from Legend of Chusen. I need to see them in something worthwhile of their talents. Yes, that’s a shade at you, Chusen!
