Ma Tian Yu and Han Dong Jun suit up in armor for Secret of the Three Kingdoms

I love it when my hunch is right! The production released a batch of stills of the ladies a few days ago and I was thinking that they would release the new stills of the male real soon. And Tada! Here it is! The men in armor ready for battle! I’m pretty excited for this one because of the cast and the rich, deep costumes, and of course the twist in history! Ma Tian Yu has had a fair share of prominent roles but he doesn’t have a representative work yet and I hope this is it. Make it big puppy!

Ma Tian Yu wraps up filming for Three Kingdoms Secret

After 3 months (it’s been 3 months?!), Ma Tian Yu has wrapped up filming for Tangren’s production, a period drama called Three Kingdoms Secret or better sounding as Secret of The Three Kingdoms (三国机密) adapted from the novel written by Ma Bo Yong, focusing of course on the epic period known as the Three Kingdoms but switching the perspective a little (away from Zhuge Liang), following the ups and downs and imperial changes of the Eastern Han Dynasty on Cao Cao’s side. Ray will be flexing his acting fibers by portraying twins – Liu Xie and Liu Ping. The twins were separated after the queen’s execution, one was raised to become a puppet emperor, while the other one was raised with Sima Yi (played by Elvis Han Dong Jun). OH. Interesting. A juicy role for my man-child!

Zheng Shuang’s Rush To The Dead Summer releases second trailer

Rush to the Dead Summer (夏至未至) is adapted from Guo Jing Ming’s novel. The youthful story spans the period of ten years and focuses on friendship, alienation, and one ultimate betrayal that breaks the group of close friends, each going their own way and entering society. Despite growing up poor and kind, our heroine (Zheng Shuang) works hard and wins a scholarship into a grand secondary school (sounds familiar?) where she meets a talented painter-to-be (Cheney Chen) and his best friend (Bai Jing Ting). Of course, love blooms in more ways than one.

So far, the promos have been summery and cheerful, but they do promise a summer of laughters and tears. *gulps*

Super powers and a lot of pretty boys in Super Star Academy I

A line of them?! Well, at least that means we each can pick a favorite…without fighting. 8D

Never thought there would be a day where I can’t remember the names of pretty people. This amount of pretty young stars in one drama should be illegal! Super Star Academy I (超星星学园) is a star-launching vehicle for a truckload of new faces in the showbiz, most of them are singers and rookies. In this parallel universe, one’s super power is based on their horoscope sign. Interesting. Our heroine is shunned when she was a child so when invitation from the prestigious Star Academy arrives, she readily agrees, not knowing it’s the first step of awakening her own powers. She also meets and befriends the numerous heirs in the said exclusive school, forming friends and enemies along the way.

This sounds like Harry Potter and his adventures in Hogwarts. Yunno, the kitty version. Lol.
