Unexpected action scenes in Hollywood Adventures trailer

I didn’t expect all this action scenes…especially from Vicki Zhao. I knew she had it in her to do them since she was in Mulan, So Close, among other films. I just thought this is a pure comedy! Turns out, Huang Xiao Ming and Tong Da Wei will be her lackeys as she infiltrates into the hooded areas of Hollywood. Do we need any other reason to watch this? LOL.

Vicki Zhao lends her voice for Alec Su’s The Left Ear

Wow. The nostalgic level for this movie is already up to *HERE* when Alec let the youngins sing The Little Tigers’ Fly With A Carefree and now he’s invited good old friend, Vicki, to sing the theme song for his movie too? You guys are killing my nostalgic pedometer here folks! The more promo we get the more tragic this youth film appears to be… I didn’t read the novel but a quick investigation confirms a certain death. *wails*

Oh you young people are so dramatic! Give me back my rainbows and unicorns!

Zhao Wei’s Tiger Mom lands on four broadcast stations

My little nuggest brother joined the soccer team last week and his first game is tomorrow! Can’t wait to see those short legs stumble on the green field. And I extremely dislike the promotional team for this drama. If you’re gonna release the trailer at those drama convention, might as well release them online in high quality. I waited for so long and the quality sucks still!

Posters for Vicki Zhao and Huang Xiao Ming’s Hollywood Adventures

Finally something substantial other than the behind-the-scene and fan-taken pictures. I’m grateful for those but this movie gotta release something to quench my thirst. Directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6), Vicki Zhao transforms into a seductress the two bumbling friends, Huang Xiao Ming and Tong Da Wei, meet in America, as they chase the American dream and get entangled in a whirlwind of romance. The movie plans to premiere on June 26. And maybe the best friends could star in a full-length drama later! *fingers-crossed*

Wallace Chung, Louis Koo, Zhao Wei lead in Three’s Company

OMGGGGGGGG! Did I die and went to heaven? Fantastic news. Three’s Company is an action movie revolving good guys and bad guys. Wallace Chung is putting away his tailored business suits and taking a ride in prison as a gangster for this new role. After he is let out, he continues to plot and scheme to expand his drug business. His rival in the movie, played by Louis Koo is a …. cop (of course!) who is sorta like a stalker, following the inmate’s activities day in and day out. To complicate matters between the men (yunno, after guns are safely put away), we have a cold and aloof woman (assassin?) (Vicki Zhao). Vicki’s role was previously offered to Gao Yuan Yuan.

Fingers crossed that nothing changes because filming begins in March.
