First stills for Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils 2019 with Tony Yang, Bai Shu, and Zhang Tian Yang

A little behind but I finally laid eyes on the first set of stills for the new adaptation of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. I’m so jaded now. Looking at new adaptations of Jin Yong’s novels nowadays, I can’t help but sneeze out a laughter. I’m happy for some of the actors you know, being able to breathe life into some iconic characters, but at the same time, there’s a feeling of miscast as well. I know, too early to say.

War movie The Founding of An Army reveals star-studded cast

War movie, The Founding of An Army (建军大业), is the third part of the trilogy called Founding of New China, followed by The Founding of a Republic (2009), The Founding of a Party (2011), intended to be released this summer to mark the anniversary of the Chinese army (90th anniversary). The movie gathers 40+ stars in main roles and guest appearances, including both veteran actors and fresh meat, led by Zhu Ya Wen (as Zhou En Lai), Liu Ye (as Mao Zedong), Oho Ou (as Ye Ting), Ma Tian Yu, Liu Hao Ran and Ma Yi Li. The story begins in 1927 at the beginning of the Nanchang uprising, known as the first major Kuomintang–Communist engagement.

The endless scrolling of pretty begins…. hehehe. (It took me an hour to get all the names. Lol!)

Season 3 of Chinese variety show, Divas Hit The Road (花兒與少年) commences filming yesterday! All the confirmed cast members headed to Brazil for their first shoot. Fans! Stalker mode on! I mean…nicely, give them privacy and distant comfort. Lol. It is a star-studded season with Boran Jing, Zhang Ruo Yun, Maggie Jiang, Tony Yang, Bolin Chen, Guli Nazha, and baby Song Zu Er (used to be a child actress, now 18).

Chinese Movies in Box Office Battle for Lunar New Year 2017
