Much better promotional stills and music video for Three Heroes and Five Gallants this time around. I guess they heard the collective sigh we sent them the last round. The fantasy drama Green Hill Fox Legend (Legend of the Nine-Tailed Foxes) also reveals its opening theme video as well so I just grouped them together. I like both songs! 🙂

I’m just gonna say it…this production sucks! They have some of the most beautiful people on set and yet they release the most uninspiring stills and preview ever! If you blink, the trailer is gone. Lol.

Maybe I shouldn’t say anything until the official stills come out. Take a peek at Chen Xiao in his Yu Tang’s flowy white outfit. You might be slightly disappointed that our hero is unhappy in most of the stills! Why! Bai Yu Tang should be happy and care-free!
Yan Kuan’s first stills as Zhan Zhao for The Five Gallants
YAY! It’s out! It’s out! (Just the pictures, not the drama, sadly.) Remember the confirmed news I wrote about a few weeks ago? Well, the drama has begun filming for a few weeks now. Zheng Shuang is the first to film out of the main characters; Yan Kuan joined her a few days ago. And now we’re just waiting for the arrogant, flirty Bai Yu Tang, portrayed by Chen Xiao to fit in his tailored costumes.
Since I don’t know the official English title yet, I’ll leave it as The Five Gallants for now.

Another exciting casting news! Still happily in love (methinks with you know who), Chen Xiao, along with newly independent, Zheng Shuang, and freshly married, Yan Kuan, have created a scrutiny on Weibos for being the candidates of another novel adaptation. This time it’s The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants written by Shi Yukun. If you know the famous, morally upright, judge Bao Zheng (Bao Gong), chances are you know about the talented men who aided him in his quest to fight corruption.
