Entrepreneurial Age’s Official Trailer: Huang Xuan’s journey from nobody to somebody

I confess that I rarely finish a trailer for a modern Cdrama but I sat through it for Entrepreneurial Age, surprisingly not dog-blood and looks pretty good with plenty of close-up shots and wide-shots for background and beautiful scenery. Huang Xuan cleans up well in his successful days and Angelababy looks perfect in all her own scenes. Zhou Yi Wei has hair here, lol, opposite from his down-and-dirty look in Tribes, and he’s paired up with Song Yi. Waiting for crackling chemistry from both pairings!

Merry Christmas to all! ♥♥♥

Zhang Han’s The Legendary Tycoon to air with Song Yi as leading lady

Well, when it comes to business, risks and compromises are needed to make things happen. In this case, Zhang Han had to make the decision to cut out his original leading lady Goo Hye Sun and pushed Song Yi from second leading role into first lead in order for The Legendary Tycoon to get the greenlight. It’s sad and hilarious how the official weibo has removed all traces of Miss Goo and the new trailer features Song Yi and Jia Qing as the ladies, along with Chen Qiao En in a special guest role. Remember how I was so upset with him constantly promoting Korean actresses in his productions? Lol. I don’t mind the mixing of two worlds but he did it consecutively, leaving Song Yi who joined his studio in the dust and hence she left. Can’t blame her!

Huang Xuan’s Updates: Youth’s Delayed Premiere causes tears, Entrepreneurial Age wraps up filming

Saw pictures of the cast of Feng Xiao Gang‘s movie, Youth (芳华), crying their eyes out at the press conference and I thought someone was injured. Turns out the coming-of-age movie about the military art troupe is delayed and won’t be premiering during the national weekend next week, as anticipated by movie goers, who found out they couldn’t book tickets. The production and director did not give an official explanation but many theories have been mentioned. 1) Sensitive subject (the Sino-Vietnam war) 2) movie’s final script is different than the submitted version calling for changes 3) Fierce competition for national holidays weekend with a total release of 10 different films.

Fans and Reporters visit fancy sets of Huang Xuan’s Entrepreneurial Age

The production welcomes fans and reporters on set and everyone is dressed to the nine. Lol. Maybe this is a gala when their characters have made it big in the industry. Based on a novel, Entrepreneurial Age (创业时代) begins with our hero in the role of a software engineer, inspired by a new idea of a mobile app to send voice messages. He sets out to make it big with this small idea, getting investors and funding, and meeting our heroine who is an investor analyst. Thus begins the story of young people working hard, overcoming obstacles, and achieving their dreams.

Sneak behind-the-scenes of Entrepreneurial Age with Angelababy, Huang Xuan, and Zhou Yi Wei

Entrepreneurial Age (创业时代) is the upcoming modern cdrama based on same-name novel written by Fu Yao, a real-life marketing strategist, according to Baidu. I like the cast, really like the main and supporting actors they chose for this modern project. Angelababy is not the strongest actor so hopefully playing against Huang Xuan will bring something hidden out of her, though she is a charming individual off-screen. Song Yi and Zhou Yi Wei round out the supporting cast. The story begins with our hero in the role of a software engineer, inspired by a new idea of a mobile app to send voice messages, he sets out to make it big with this small idea, getting investors and funding, and meeting our heroine who is an investor analyst.
