Aaron Kwok, Zhao Li Ying, and Zhu Yi Long at Press Conference for Eternal Wave

If someone asks me about Li Ying’s OTP, I would say she’s married to her work. The second she wrapped up her appearance at Qiyi Carnival Night, she immediately flew to attend the pre-show press conference for her movie, Eternal Wave, with Aaron Kwok and Zhu Yi Long in Shanghai. Busy, busy girl. Production officially begins on December 13th and will run for about 100 days. Funny how they estimated the exact days needed. heh. As if!

New Eternal Waves confirms Aaron Kwok and Zhao Li Ying

New Eternal Waves is the remake of the film, The Eternal Wave, released in 1958, about Communist Party undercover agents operating in Shanghai in the 1930s against the Japanese. Aaron Kwok and Zhao Li Ying were confirmed a few months ago and now they have announced the other supporting characters. Our darling girl turned 28 today (10/16) so I decided to post her news on her birthday! I’m excited that she’ll be working with many well-known veterans for this project and hopefully they will give her many pointers and push her acting to a new level.

Intense trailer for action thriller SPL II: A Time For Consequences

YES! Real men fighting! Not your skinny lads wearing rock clothing and throwing around cute punches to show off to the ladies. 😉 And what a mix of artists too, not your usual serve of same crew. The biggest surprise is Ong Bak star, Tony Jaa, starring in his first Hong Kong film and leading the grown up men – Louis Koo (Triumph in the Skies), Wu Jing (SPL: Sha Po Lang), Simon Yam (The Midnight After, Sara), and Max Zhang (The Grandmaster) in a fight for their lives. Honestly, these actors are drama actors that I used to love in dramaland, when they were younger and had much less muscles. =P
