Between Glory of Tang Dynasty (大唐荣耀) and Three Lives Three Worlds, I think the majority is anticipating 3L3W more, but I’m leaning towards Tang right now. The intensity of the trailers, the richness of the colors, and the excellent soulful singers they have on board got me! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
Opening themesongs are revealed for two dramas that will be contending in the ratings game with General and I nearing its last leg of episodes. Smart move to air earlier. Yang Mi‘s Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and Jing Tian‘s Glory of the Tang Dynasty. On the one hand, I still do not feel much for the OTP of 3L3W but their secondary and tertiary couples are looking cute and their songs are pretty on the dot to steal my little heart. On the other hand, while Tang Dynasty is on the down low with promos, I’m more inclined to check it out, thanks largely to the intense trailer, Jing Tian’s charms, and the wagon of cast members from Legend of Chusen. I need to see them in something worthwhile of their talents. Yes, that’s a shade at you, Chusen!
I heeded ya’ll advice and didn’t cram as much into this batch. Blame the Chinese entertainment of never sleeping!
Glory of the Tang Dynasty (大唐荣耀) should be called The Legend of Chusen‘s men courting Jing Tian. We have Jing Tian, Shu Chang (also in Chusen), and Wan Qian for the ladies, and Mao Zi Jun, Qin Jun Jie, and Ren Jia Lun for the men. One of them will win the lady’s hand and succeed the throne. If anything, the latest trailer reveals a bloody war path leading to the throne. It is fast-moving and I hope they didn’t use all the action scenes in the trailer alone. XD
