A Step Into The Past 2017 with Chen Xiang and Guo Xiao Ting
Oooo! I would like for this to happen! The latest casting news has Chen Xiang (Tornado Girl) and Guo Xiao Ting (Chinese Paladin) up for the leading roles. They might change the two-wives storyline after all? YAY! Nicky Wu is listed as the artistic director and Liu Shi Shi might put in a cameo appearance for the upcoming webdrama produced by youku. Not even sure the word remake is the right word since the story is based of the novel…. Should say adaptation instead.

Chen Xiang scores first leading role in I’m Not An Agent/Spy
Say it with me: YESHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Chen Xiang finally graduated from the brooding second male leads to first male lead in upcoming idol republican drama, I’m Not An Agent/Spy (我不是特工). Playing his leading lady is rising new face Su Qing (Yun Zhong Ge). Phew. I’m so happy for him. When they asked if he would be returning to another season of Taekwondo Girl, he said most likely not because there isn’t a part 3 and it would depend on where they’re taking his character. Anyway, that’s not all the good news! We sometimes forget he started out as a singer and is currently promoting his mini-album called Whirlwind. He wrote 6 of the 10 songs!
