New banner to celebrate batch 40!
Not much going on in dramaland but music land? Everyone and their grandmas decided to drop a single this past week. Lol. I keep on pushing this batch back and removing bullet points to make individual posts. It’s been…two weeks now? But yes, lots of news.
Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Night 2016
The annual charity event hosted by Bazaar China is back! I both love and dislike these events. Lol. I don’t know how many pictures I scrolled through in the last three hours to compile the pictures! In general, the men look pretty good this batch but the ladies have quite a few misses in the fashion department.
Wang Kai and Ruby Lin lead in Alec Su’s The Devotion of Suspect X
So secretive this production! There was a lot of casting rumors surrounding the new movie to be directed by actor Alec Su, but in the end, it’s not the young faces we saw but two very, very pretty, and well-liked faces of Nick Wang Kai and Ruby Lin. The Devotion of Suspect X (嫌疑人X的献身) is adapted from Japanese novel of the same written by Keigo Higashino (Detective Galileo series), following the intense battle of wits between a very smart Math teacher (Edward Zhang Lu Yi) and an equally intelligent physicist (Nick) over the murder case at the hands of a single mother (Ruby). Mind you, the single mother did KILL her not-nice ex-husband. The math teacher loves and wants to cover up her murder, while the physicist simply desires to reveal the truth.
Battle of wits, sounds like a sexy film already. ;D
Wallace Huo and Ruby Lin’s Wedding Ceremony in Bali
I know. Another Bali location!! Someone send these celebrities a few exotic suggestions! Anyhoo, it’s time to send off the other original Pearl Princess in our hearts. Such a strange feeling I still have for Wallace and Ruby, like it’s not real. They revealed their romance just a few months ago and the wedding also happens just as quickly. But having acted together before, the seed of romance was probably planted a long time in the shy boy and outgoing girl. It might not have been the right time then, but they still found their way back together and made it work. Now it is both the right time with the right person. Nothing beats that. ;]

Wallace Huo confirms marriage, Chen Xiao confirms baby!
What news I wake up to! Both sides (Wallace Huo and Ruby Lin‘s studio) thank friends for being concerned and yes, they are planning to get married soon (rumor: 7/31 in Bail?)! It’s funny cause you guys did suggest wedding bells soon for this couple because if they are planning to make beautiful babies, now is the time. Lol. I sometime forget they are not young anymore. On the other hand, Chen Xiao and Michelle Chen register their marriage officially today on July 5th on Chen Xiao’s birthday. Then he posts on weibo, “Waiting for a new life to be born!” Michelle replies, “From here on out, it’s the three of us! Hubby, happy birthday!”
TOO MUCH SWEETNESS IN THE MORNING. It’s only 5AM here. XD
