Ladies of Ode To Joy shimmer and dazzle Girl Power for Elle

Despite many grievances with their characters, it’s always nice to see our onscreen ladies hugging, cheering, and teasing each other, displaying some much needed sisterhood! Liu Tao has her undeniable grace, Jiang Xin and her recent blooming beauty, Wang Zi Zen and her confident attitude, Andy Yang Zi and her arrival at womanhood, and lastly, Bridgette Qiao Xin with her youthful bubbliness to wrap up the team. Beautiful.

Crystal Zhang Tian Ai Embraces her Yin and Yang for Cosmo

The hottest rising starlet on the majority of the polls nowadays is your one truly manly princess, Crystal Zhang Tian Ai. It’s always nice and overwhelming to rise so quickly with the right project at the right time. While the boys were pretty to look at, their acting left a lot to be desired (some are not actors themselves, to be fair) and she stood out like a shining gem. Her commitment showed.

Sandra Ma and Zhou Dong Yu clash in Qi Yue and An Sheng

A new movie just started production a few days ago! I’m very interested in this film because I adore the two leading ladies and two, they will be reversing their roles. Sandra Ma who got noticed for being the rebellious bar girl in The Left Ear, will be playing a quiet, well-mannered, and law-abiding citizen (Qi Yue) while Zhou Dong Yu, known for her petite and soft features, will be taking on the role of an uninhibited, unrestrained rule breaker (An Sheng). I hope this setup works for them and not against the two. Qi Yue and An Sheng (七月与安生) is a youth novel written by An Ni Bao Bei. I also love that the title is about them, even if they are destined to fall in love with the same boy (KRAPPPP KRAPPP!). The two characters meet when they are thirteen and experience all the highs and lows of adolescence and adulthood before embracing the value of life, love, and friendship.

Nick Wang and Sandra Ma sizzle for Bazaar Jewelry

I don’t know why they bother decorating these two with jewelries cause I don’t see anything other than their sizzling chemistry. Sandra also stole the thunder right under Nick‘s nose. She looks amazing with the short do, giving her the right sass and attitude. Add her to the list of short-bobbed princesses, along with Rainie Yang!

In the same breath, we have Liu Yi Fei also sporting some jades and bling bling. 😉

Zhao Li Ying’s Bazaar photoshoot and stills for The Interns

I know I haven’t updated Li Ying’s news in a while but don’t worry, I’m still interested in maintaining my crown as her biggest fangirl. ^_^ She’s currently filming Nicky Wu’s production, Zu Mountain, as reported here with William Chan. I’m at episode 10 for the first season produced by TVB in 1990 and episode 15 for Season 2. I’ll write my thoughts for that story when the first official stills are released. For now, let’s look at how adorable she is for Bazaar!

Mythological drama, The Gods, courts Chen Xiao and Wang Li Kun

Thanks heavens! Chen Xiao, if you have escaped Yumama’s claws, never go back again! Please accept this offer! He doesn’t have anything line up except for that horror flick with Ariel Lin, and his other drama, Love & Life & Lie, might be airing in June. He’s been quite free lately as evident of his touring fashion shows in Milan these past few days. Which is good because a period in between each project is a healthy practice to me. Now he just needs to influence his friend to do the same thing…. 😉
