Gotta give it to the PD for finding 3 dorkiest actors!
GAH! I cannot wait for Kim Hubby’s latest movie, Secretly and Greatly, where he stars with Park Ki Woong and Lee Hyun Woo. Mark your calendar drifters! It’s a movie date!
The movie’s already out in theater in Korea (and doing very well!) but we international fans can only wait for the raw…and then patiently spy for English subtitles. Best times to be a fan, let me tell you. The movie follows three North Korean spies as they disguise into a bumbling village idiot, a not-so-bright student, and a orangutan idol star. Laying low and out of trouble, they await their last mission. What will it be?
And I know it’s Monday. The longest day of the week! So have some pretty and colors while you’re in your little cubby at work. 😀
Bridal Mask was never a romance, that part I understood from the very beginning. It’s just a small, but very lovely and colorful part of the forest, bringing life and meaning to our lost heroes. The ending scene was awesome, true to the spirit of patriotism and the fight for independence of a country. A lot of deaths in the finale, as expected, but with death comes a new generation of fighters, and the theme of patience and bravery continue as the people struggle, fight, and die to protect the grounds they live on.
Upset. The blue screen of death destroyed my highlights for episode 5 & 6. And I didn’t save a copy. T____T So you guys bear with me this week, as I’m going to be posting screen shots and thoughts for these two episodes only. No highlights. 🙁
Episode 3 was hard to watch. Kang To goes deeper into hell hole while Kang San juggles to maintain his role as a filial son, badass hero, and a loving brother all at once. Nobody says it’s easy but we see firsthand why it’s a painful road nobody wants to take unless pushed into the depth of loss and desperation. Sometimes, the means to survival is to let a part of you die. Shin Hyun Joon blows my mind in this episode as his face subtly transitions from suppressed anger to sleek playfulness in the flick of a finger. What to do with him? Before all this, I always remember him as the brother who gave up his own eyes for Choi Ji Woo in Stairway to Heaven, and now his Kang San tops the list.
Tsk, Tsk, Kang To is far from chivalry, close enough to be a complete A$$ at this point. He needs a lot of wooing to do to make mine and Mok Dan’s heart waver.
Kang To: “What? You’re Boon, the little girl I risked my life to save?! Crap! I even attempted to execute you?
Mok Dan *mimics his creepy smile*: “B-I-N-G-O! Bingo!”
Kang To: “………o.o……..”
Mok Dan: “Now let me cut you!”
Weee~~ Finally got a chance to sit down and peacefully watch an episode of Bridal Mask. Now I understand what folks mean by Joo Won’s screaming. ha. I think his fans in Korea should donate soothing herbal drinks to the filming set because the boy really needs those. Our young leading girl is good so far, holding her own, but I wish she would sock Kang To in the nuts sometimes. That ought to teach the boy how to treat a girl!
EEEEEEk!! After viewing the second trailer, I’m pumped for this drama! Because of four things I see.
Check out the HQ trailer below and be amazed!
