A battle of Guns between Huang Xuan and Chen He in Republican thriller Sniper
Somehow, I thought this series has already aired? Lol. Sniper (瞄准) is a Republican thriller series that pits two old friends as foes in their new line of job. Huang Xuan’s character is sent to remove a special organization of assassins and Chen He is sent from the enemy camp to take him out as well.
Airing 10/9! Quite a few series airing on this day.

Jiang Chao romances Li Xi Rui in To Love To Heal
Another Li Xi Rui‘s drama! She’s currently being wooed by Dylan Xiong in Pretty Man. To Love To Heal is another modern drama where she’s paired up with Jiang Chao (The Fox’s Summer). As the name suggests, it’s a healing romance where our heroine loses her first love in an accident and therefore she lives in the past, doing the things he would want to do, pursuing studies he would want to do. Years pass by just like that until she meets a game CEO at a bar and they engage…in a one night stand that leaves the hero rattled when she cries and calls out his name in pain (he shares the same second character name with her lost love.) Two years pass by before the two meet again and this time, he’s eager to win over her cold heart! Whether or not they keep certain aspects in the drama is another story. 🙂

Pretty Man Teaser: Dylan Xiong Zi Qi seals proposal to Li Xi Rui with a kiss
If anyone is busy, then Dylan Xiong Zi Qi is one to add to the list, busy filming one drama after another. He’s another new face from last year that I haven’t gotten the chance to watch in any projects yet. Seems like a nice kid on variety shows. He will be romancing Li Xi Rui in Pretty Man (国民老公), adapted from Ye Fei Ye‘s novel. It’s a modern love story that starts in high school where our two leads harbor crushes for each other but not brave enough to admit. Events happen and he thinks she likes his younger brother (of a different mother), while she thinks he hates her. And just like that 13 years pass by and now he’s a rich CEO of a company, also an acting god, while she’s a budding new actress in the scene. Behind the scene, they are forced to get married but he’s acting under the name of his younger brother – who’s in a coma after an accident. Now linked together, they will jump through hurdles to the very end. Sweetly.
