Let’s see how long they will continue to milk this franchise. At this point, people are only tuning in for the people right?

Ming Dao & Hu Bing compete for Li Qin’s love in If I Love You
For a good minute there, I was laughing my head off, pondering to replace the guys’ names in the post title with “uncles.” For little girls’ sake, Hu Bing is 43 this year! He’s 20-year her senior. Creeeeepy. Ming Dao is lucky, he looks quite young for a man in his mid thirties. If you don’t know already, If I Love You is the THIRD installment to the Queen of SOP franchise, revolving around the cheeky character of Adam Bell, played by Ming Dao, in the first part.
Joe Chen Qiao En & Ming Dao: “We know each other very well.”
Ah, one of the first Taiwanese onscreen couples that I ship. I need to rewatch Prince Turned to Frog. When I saw these cute photos on Chinese news sites, I thought they are having another collaboration. Wrong. Apparently, they are promoting the terribly written drama, Beauties of the Emperor, again! Why oh why are people still re-airing this poorly done work? Let the nightmare disappear from my eyes.
Beauties of the Emperor: Episode 3 & 4 “What’s she thinking?”
Oh…I didn’t expect the blazing chemistry from these two. You know, I have been MingEn this, MingEn that during the first two episodes that I completely forgot about the other man in Le Er’s life. He shows up in episode 3 and the air has been refreshed. We’re still in the process of setting up the characters, but hopefully, things pick up from here.
Beauties of the Emperor: Episode 2 “Coincidences.”
Are these two going to meet properly anytime soon?
Rejoice my friends. Some fans at MingEn’s facebook have ripped DF subs and reuploaded them onto youtube. Check the videos here. Now you don’t have to read this recap. 😉 I’m serious! Why would anyone choose to scroll through still images when you can watch MingEn in motion? Enjoy watching and please keep all discussions related to the current episode!
Beauties of the Emperor: Episode 1 – “MINGEN!”
Taking a brief break from my Jdrama viewing (Still have a few series to cover!) to watch some MingEn. I haven’t recapped a full episode in a while so it may be rusty. The last time was Feast of the Gods fiasco. Episode 1 is fast-paced and sets the foundation for our female leads. The war scenes are quite good but I can’t watch them for long because the fallen horses break my heart.
Recap: Queen of SOP Episodes 8 & 9
Hello! I’m back! I’m sorry this has taken so long! I know the drama has ended weeks ago. But I’ll still continue and finish this up. I’m doing the screenshots myself this time. Additionally, you can expect a few gifs in my posts from now on! ;D Let’s move on to the recap! 😀 Continue reading
Recap: Queen of SOP Episodes 5 – 7
So, we’ve decided to combine a few episodes together for each recap post for the rest of the dramas. As Kap said, “The drama has become a little draggy, unfortunately. Yet moving at too fast a pace, ironically, in terms of romance. Getting together with Zi Qi without knowing each other, and Tang Jun falling in love too deeply with the lack of interaction they’ve had. =/”
Enough with blabbering. On with the recap!
