War movie The Founding of An Army reveals star-studded cast

War movie, The Founding of An Army (建军大业), is the third part of the trilogy called Founding of New China, followed by The Founding of a Republic (2009), The Founding of a Party (2011), intended to be released this summer to mark the anniversary of the Chinese army (90th anniversary). The movie gathers 40+ stars in main roles and guest appearances, including both veteran actors and fresh meat, led by Zhu Ya Wen (as Zhou En Lai), Liu Ye (as Mao Zedong), Oho Ou (as Ye Ting), Ma Tian Yu, Liu Hao Ran and Ma Yi Li. The story begins in 1927 at the beginning of the Nanchang uprising, known as the first major Kuomintang–Communist engagement.

IQiyi All-Star Carnival Night 2017

I anticipated the whole week for this event until the bomb dropped last night that Li Ying wouldn’t be able to attend because she needed to film an important scene for her movie, Ride the Winds Break the Waves, with Eddie and Deng Chao. Sigh….. Her manager went in her stead and she won Artist of the Year Award. Most of the attendees were Li Ying’s co-stars too! Good thing they have a good variety of stars to reel me back in. heh. The pretty!

Run Brother Episode 5 Season 4: “Guests Running Man.”

I haven’t watched any variety shows lately. But then I saw the promo for this episode and couldn’t resist posting it. Round 2 of the epic battle between the two sides of Running Man. It’s a good thing they mix and match the the teams into pairs! Much more fun! Whoever paired Kwang Soo and Wong Cho Lam is hysterical!! The height difference couldn’t get any better than this. Will watch this episode when I get home from work!
