Beautiful Reborn Flower with Song Wei Long and Lin Yun confirms broadcast in May

From the author An Ni Bao Bei who gave you the movie, Qi Yue and An Sheng aka SoulMate with Sandra Ma and Zhou Dong Yu, Beautiful Reborn Flower is another novel of hers getting adapted for television and Song Wei Long and Lin Yun are the main leads. This time Lin Yun is challenging herself with two roles, one is an introverted writer and the other is a free-spirited woman (pre and post amnesia personalities), while Wei Long finds himself in yet another rebellious role. I don’t think I have to write up the storyline, the english-subbed trailer reveals everything already. Lol.

Airing 5/1! Very little promo….

Symphony’s Romance: Chinese Remake of Nodame Cantabile with Zhang Xin Cheng and Lin Yun drops new promos

Nodame Cantabile is a manga by Tomoko Ninomiya and has been adapted as live-action television dramas by Japan (with Hiroshi Tamaki and Juri Ueno) and Korea (with Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung) and now it’s China’s turn. Used to be called Cantabile Youth (让全世界都听见), the new drama title is now Symphony’s Romance with the leads in Zhang Xin Cheng of My Huckleberry Friends and Lin Yun of Battle Through The Heaven. I personally haven’t finished either version but have heard of numerous praises for the Japanese version, for capturing and meshing the quirkiness of its characters and classical music seamlessly.

Filming has wrapped last year but no air date as of now.
