Memory Love (噗通噗通我愛你) is an upcoming Taiwanese drama starring Andy Chen Yi, Mandy Wei Man, Jolin Chien, and Kris Shen. At first glance, it looks like a fluffy romcom drama but noooooo, was so wrong. Our heroine has a good life and good boyfriend but all of that is ripped away from hers when her boyfriend dies in a car accident and she has amnesia, leading to an identity switch with her friend (Mandy Tao)! Her boyfriend’s heart is donated…to our male lead (Andy), of course. All the usual tropes thrown all in one pot!
The naive Qing Shuo lands herself in trouble, one after another, as she makes her way back to her beloved, even though she doesn’t know it yet. Already there is a lot of confusion on her side, and angst on his, as they struggle with feelings that feel like dejavu.
With all the responsibility of being the keeper of coveted treasures off her shoulder and memories of a first love forgotten, Qing Shuo is now an entirely blank slate. She may have lost her memories, but seems like she lost a bit of her mind as well.
Bring out the confetti, the show is finally here! The spin-off, re-telling of the famous Prince of Lan Ling will focus on the princess instead and promises an epic romance with the two men who want her heart. We will see if they deliver.
I decided to revive this old post (when we were fooled into thinking it would air 2 years ago.) The comments section is hilarious and I want to share it with you guys once again. =D I saw a lot of familiar names and shed a tear knowing that some of you guys are still hanging around this ship. Thank-you. ❤
We are almost there guys!! Finally some good news for us! The highly anticipated drama, Princess of Lan Ling (兰陵王妃), adapted from the novel written by Yang Qian Zi, is scheduled to premiere online at Mango TV on September 29th
October, having been bought by Hunan and shelved till now (4 years?). With that, I’m sad to share the news that one of the cast members is no longer with us in this world. I wasn’t able to share the news back then, but she’s remembered fondly by the cast and friends and deserves a spot in your heart for her courageous fight against cancer.
Yes! More weddings! It’s not labor day weekend anymore but weddings weekend. Lol. Are you seeing a trend too? Most of the beloved Taiwanese stars that we grew up watching are getting hitched one by one! 2016 is a good year for all the lovebirds out there. Is anyone in our readers walking down the aisle too? All I have to say is… Keep Loving you people. Keep them coming. ;D
Hmm, if none of the 10+ airing dramas this month grab your attention, check this one out, but I can’t guarantee the acting is solid. Lol. It’s an idol drama based on a novel of the same name by Yu Jia. I mentioned The Four Horsemen way back in March and it is finally broadcasting on Qiyi on July 28th, led by Taiwanese actor Andy Chen and a truckload of fresh faces, especially the pretty girls!
