Feng Shao Feng’s The Starry Night The Starry Sea to air

WHYYYYYYYYY? WHYYYYYYYYY? WHYYYYYY NOW? I’m exhausted. Lol.

The drama adaptation of Tong Hua’s novel, The Starry Night The Starry Sea (那片星空那片海), starring William Feng Shao Feng as the lonely merman and Haden Kuo as his human lover will follow the slot left behind by Pretty Li Hui Zhen and premieres on February 5th. I was gonna rant more until I rewatched the trailer and found it so beautifully filmed, with wide ocean shots and clashing of sea waves fluttering before my eyes…. With snow covering my streets, I do like being serenaded by the calls of a summer love.

Ah….I’m so easy. __❤ But don’t you agree, it’s one heck of pretty modern drama!

Yang Rong, Hawick Lau’s The Legend of Flying Daggers to air

Good or bad news… With Hawick Lau‘s scandal still lingering, I feel bad for Yang Rong and the whole cast ensemble. Legend of the Flying Daggers is the fifth and final installment to Gu Long‘s Little Li Flying Dagger series. FYI, Zhu Yi Long’s Border Town Prodigal is the third installment. The novel follows Li Huai, Li Xun Huan’s grandson, as he wanders in jianghu to help the poor and uphold justice using his grandfather’s Little Li Dagger technique. How I wish Hawick could use those little daggers in real life and cut off the scandalous tail he has acquired for himself. Spare us and Yang Mi the pain. Lol.

Official Trailer for Feng Shao Feng’s The Starry Night The Starry Sea

The Starry Night The Starry Sea (那片星空那片海) is a modern fantasy based on same-name novel written by Tong Hua (Bu Bu Jing Xin). It stars William Feng Shao Feng as the merman who encounters a human girl (Haden Kuo) one beautiful summer and falls in love with her. First official trailer is out and I have to say, it’s beautifully shot. Lots of wide shots to get the ocean, mountains, and sandy beaches. We are heading into Winter where I’m at so I gobble everything up. SO PRETTY.

The Starry Night The Starry Sea with William Feng, Haden Kuo

Finally got the chance to check out the novel and fell asleep promptly after 2 chapters. Lol. It was slow and the heroine’s inner thoughts were quit ordinary. It’s a good thing they got Haden Kuo to play the female lead because she is beautiful and likable to me (dramaland needs new faces!) William Feng Shao Feng takes on the role of our hero – a merman! So far, I haven’t seen his tail yet. hehe. He better be careful because the supporting male leads are no joke!

Stylish first trailer for The Legend of Flying Daggers

The news needs to slow down! I shut my eyes for four hours and more news comes out. The new adaptation of Gu Long’s novel has dropped its first English-subbed trailer. It’s three-minute long with an instrumental background, but keep your volume at a low level because at some point, Yang Rong lets out a high-pitched scream after her fallen lover, Hawick Lau. Girl hasn’t been watching wuxia dramas, no one dies falling off a cliff. heee!

Yang Rong’s gorgeous palace in Gu Long’s Flying Daggers

It’s only one still but if I had a palace house like Yang Rong in the latest remake of Gu Long’s The Legend of Flying Daggers, I would host my Thanksgiving and Christmas party there every year! Basically, I would never leave. Is everyone here all set for the big dinner tomorrow? Don’t head out to the grocery store because you’re most likely gonna get a black eye. Not pointing fingers but it was brutal last year. Lol. Happy Thanksgiving to our fellow drifters (~^_^~)! Remember to be thankful for what you have instead of the luxuries you don’t own (read: Black Friday is just around the corner! =P) There is a reason why you have those in the first place. Cherish them! =)
