Awwwwwwwwwww!! This looks uber cute for a light summer drama. Every father’s nightmare when their little daughter grows up and begins dating boys! They will clash and make-up until the day he accepts her chosen man. Modern drama Little Valentine (小情人) explores the relationships between various types of parental figures as Hu Jun learns the dos and donts of being a dad. Beside a hormonal daughter, he also has to deal with his own stubborn mother and a potential love interest in his life. Problems coming from all sides. Good luck, dad!
This is the cutest drama title ever. Every Daddy’s little girl is also his Little Valentine. ♥♥♥♥ BUT once that sweet child hits the age of I-know-more-than-you-do, it’s gonna take a bigger heart to embrace her tantrums and mistakes. Actor Hu Jun (Cairo Declaration) plays a single dad to his only daughter played by Gina Jin (The Legend of Qin). The modern drama explores the relationships between various types of parental figures as Hu Jun learns the dos and donts of being a dad. Beside a hormonal daughter, he also has to deal with his own stubborn mother and a potential love interest in his life. SO MUCH FUN!
Also called Xiao Hong Yan, this period drama explores Master Su’s mysterious death (or is he?) and the love lives of his 5 wives. Damian Lau plays Master Su while Second Young Master is played by Baron Chen (when is he cutting his hair?!), and the leading lady is Hu Jing. She also sings the theme song “Moon Water” for this series. I came across the theme video on youtube and the song sounds really nice, especially with the blend in of water drops here and there. Or maybe I’m just an emo person. *shrugs*

I’m practically salivating whenever I think about this drama “Beauties of the Emperor”. It’s still filming so most likely, it will be released in 2012. The Chinese title is “王的女人”. This drama marks the reunion of Ming Dao and Chen Qiao En, one of Taiwanese hottest couples. The two starred in 2005’s highest rated series “Prince Turns to Frog”, which was also the drama that revived my love for Taiwanese entertainment. The plot is cliché and sometimes silly but the chemistry between the two leads motivated me to finish. Heck, I even bought the famous crown ring. haha XD Oh, the good old times.
Ming Dao and Chen Qiao En will shed their idol image to enter the world of ancient goodness! Wahaha!
