This is gonna be quick and dirty because it’s great being a parent. Even when they got you sick, you still have to wake up and cater to them!!

Another Blossom?! 😛 😛 😛
Blossoms of Power (百花杀) is adapted from the novel The Imperial Song – After I Bloom, A Hundred Flowers Die written by Jin Huang. The novel unfortunately only has 2 chapters translated so far by Celestial-dreamer.
This looks to be our leads’ third collaboration! He Yu played the younger version of the Emperor in Blossom and they also played a couple in The Legend of Heroes 2024. Another surprising face in the cast is the return of Jeremy Tsui who took a year-long break from showbiz and announced his comeback September of last year.
The story sounds interesting. DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON’T WANT NOVEL SPOILERS. THE DRAMA WILL LIKELY CHANGE MANY THINGS, though. It’s a palace drama with lots of princes and scheming. Our male lead is an ailing crown prince who’s been poisoned since he was young so he spends his days pretending to be really frail although he practices martial arts (heh). He is described as scheming, cold-blooded, and manipulative. Our female lead, in her previous life, was married to the previous Crown Prince (second male lead), but committed suicide after the execution of her whole family under his supervision, forced by the Emperor (yikes!). Her soul enters the body of a general’s daughter. She’s later sent by her father to the capital to find a royal husband – our male lead. She’s equally cunning and cold.
Dashing Youth (少年白马醉春风) is the prequel to the well-loved 2022 drama The Blood of Youth. It follows our hero played by Neo who is described as stubborn and doesn’t like to learn poems or martial arts. He only likes to make wine. He had a best friend who was murdered and later reunited under a different name played by He Yu. As we all know how fate works, he’s accepted into a martial arts school and meets a group of youngsters, making him evaluate his life choices. When his best friend is used to launch a war, he has to step up to protect the world and the boy he once knew!
EDIT // Airing 7/19!
Yay for Wuxia fans! The Legend of Heroes (金庸武侠世界) is a 5-part drama series focusing on the Five Greats (my assumption) of the Condor trilogy from Jin Yong’s novels with a total of 60 episodes and directed by 5 directors.
Airing 6/17~
