Romance of a Twin Flower (春闺梦里人) is adapted from the novel written by Bai Lu Cheng Shuang. In the original novel, our female is a modern working woman who finds herself as one of the villains in the book she’s reading: abandoned-main-wife-turned-evil of a domineering marquis. In the drama, they changed that part and made her a twin who loses her memory and replaces her twin sister in the manor with the same marquis. She has exceptional business skills and resolves many crisis for the family, earning the love of the arrogant man of the house eventually.

Romance of A Twin Flower (春闺梦里人) is adapted from the novel The Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir written by Bai Lu Cheng Shuang. In the novel, she’s a woman in the modern world whose body transmigrated into the body of the second female lead in the novel that she’s reading. Second female lead is Male Lead’s abandoned first wife and the most villainous of them all. In the drama adaptation though, our heroine is a twin and has amnesia after an accident. And somehow magically finds herself replacing her twin sister in the Hou Manor, using her wits to solve many crises for the family and winning the heart of the Hou Young Master.
I think they will tame down our Male Lead in the drama version….because he’s not so nice in the novel and I see some novel fans questioning how the FL can even like him. Sounds like he’s misunderstood? But the things I read he did doesn’t sound like a misunderstanding. Lol. O.O
