Sorry, this post is a bit delayed, a little incidence happened and my presence was needed elsewhere after work. In any case, our girl turns the big 30 today! I’m sure she’s feeling the pressure from friends and families to find the special person and settle down but I do want her to know that she should go at her own pace. Some folks hurry into commitments and not take the time to explore and find happiness within themselves. You gotta love yourself first, before loving and allowing love to come into your life!

Duckweed holds conference with Zhao Li Ying, Deng Chao

Darn the time! When Li Ying‘s available to attend, Eddie Peng is busy. XD Duckweed (乘风破浪) will premiere in exactly one week and they released a music video 2 days ago, sang by Deng Chao, showing a few more scenes and kisses as well. And more behind-the-scene goodness! YESH!

Update: Dear Tranzgeek translated the whole mv for you guys. I personally don’t think much of the lyrics. Lol. The setting of this movie is in the 80s and 90s and women were expected with different things. Plus, Deng Chao, the son, is singing it and we still don’t know the full story.

Han Han leads Snarky Family in Duckweed’s Animated Posters

Lol. I was gonna say three (father Eddie Peng, mother Zhao Li Ying, son Deng Chao) but writer and director Han Han is equally snarky in his weibo posts, especially targeting our Li Ying for her sharp words against every now and then. XD Such a cute man. I’m still amazed how close this cast is despite filming for about a month-ish. Imagine if they spent 3-4 months like shooting for a full-length drama! BFFs?
