The exclamation marks… do they make you excited and pumped for this summer line-up yet? Beside all the wuxia and ancient dramas, we also have a couple of youth dramas coming our way. All fresh and young faces. 😉 One of them is a drama adaptation that I’ll be writing about in the next few days. Wait for it! The themesong of Go! Goal! Fighting! is fun but I wanted it to be more upbeat, yunno, since we have kids kicking balls around. Now that my little brother is on a soccer team, it’s a little bit weird rooting for these boys now. Lol.

While Ariel Lin got married on Christmas Eve, Hu Ge is caught on a date with his co-star from his latest drama, Go Goal Fighting, Maggie Jiang. She’s four years his junior. Way to overshadow your former love’s big day! Kidding aside, I’m just happy for him because everyone deserves some love and it’s his and her time.

It took you a second to recognize Hu Ge‘s face right? I thought it was Tony Yang at first glance. He’s definitely enjoying the mustache more than he thought. Weren’t you sad seeing him trying so hard to walk in Sound of the Desert? Well, in this new inspirational youth drama, he’s a soccer coach for a bunch of newbies! He gets to walk the talk, kick the ball, and just shimmer in glorious daylight.
