A Rain-focused teaser for Diamond Lover
I guess since it’s airing in two weeks, the promo is gonna ramped up with stills and short teasers here and there. Diamond Lover is almost a guaranteed rating success with the popularity of the OTP, but somehow I don’t feel anything towards it. There are plenty of dramas in July to keep me from breathing and this could your air-stopper! Did they finish dubbing Rain because he has no verbal line at all in 3 minutes? Or am I going deaf from the crazy morning that I had with the site being down? The horrors!!

Diamond Lover reveals Tang Yan’s fat suit and long trailer
Yep! The fat suit is here. Is it wrong I want to see her in it for a couple of episodes? She looks cute. I can’t remember the last time an actress deliberately gained weight for a role (actual weight gain and not ZLY’s cute puffy face, lol). I only remember Myolie Wu as Fei Tin in To Grow with Love, where she gained 40-50 pounds in a short period. The nine-minute trailer is also unleashed and I’m not very happy with the production company…

With all the money they invested to invite Rain, I expected the star to be bundled up in diamond armor throughout the series as the millionaire bachelor of a large diamond company. And yet he looks normal, like he always is in Korean dramas. His leading lady, Tang Yan, is busy filming another movie and will join the production at a later date, while second leads Luo Jin and Dilraba Dilmurat have already started filming with Rain joining them a few day ago.
