Liu Yi Fei and Boran Jing confirm drama Records of the Southern Mist House

Liu Yi Fei’s comeback drama!

And it’s official! The drama weibo has confirmed its main leads and it was rumored for a while already. Liu Yi Fei and Boran Jing will return to dramaland to film manhua-to-drama adaptation of Records of the Southern Mist House (南烟斋笔录) written by Ke Xiao Sha. I tried reading the story and ultimately “found out” aka remember I can’t read manga/manhua/manhwa like a regular student when I was in high school. My eyes just can’t follow the bubbles in the right order and I walked out of that manga club! So I’m hoping some of you guys have read this manhua and tell me what it’s about. All I know is that our heroine is a boss/owner of a incense/spice shop and and she has a great mission of unwinding/solving tangles of the heart for her clients.

Miss Liu will film this drama and then train for her Mulan movie! Filming begins on 12/28!

Yi Fei doesn’t need that anymore, but investors want their money worth in the Chinese market, so it’s understandable why they went with a well-known face. Still, my hopes….dashed.
