The Starry Night The Starry Sea reveals mermaid Feng Shao Feng

Due to the confusion in the last post, I will say it here that Tong Hua‘s novel, The Starry Night The Starry Sea (那片星空那片海), was published in 2015, way before Lee Min Ho’s Legend of the Blue Sea even started casting in 2016. With that off my chest, mermaid form Feng Shao Feng is scary-looking. LOL. If I see him anywhere in the water, I would stop breathing immediately and not pull him in a kiss like Haden Kuo did in the new trailer. XD It’s also nice to have a fierce-looking merman for once since they almost always look kind and lovely. Second trailer is intense.

Really looking forward to this! Weeeeee! Ending themesong by Zhou Shen is uploaded at the end.

Feng Shao Feng’s The Starry Night The Starry Sea to air

WHYYYYYYYYY? WHYYYYYYYYY? WHYYYYYY NOW? I’m exhausted. Lol.

The drama adaptation of Tong Hua’s novel, The Starry Night The Starry Sea (那片星空那片海), starring William Feng Shao Feng as the lonely merman and Haden Kuo as his human lover will follow the slot left behind by Pretty Li Hui Zhen and premieres on February 5th. I was gonna rant more until I rewatched the trailer and found it so beautifully filmed, with wide ocean shots and clashing of sea waves fluttering before my eyes…. With snow covering my streets, I do like being serenaded by the calls of a summer love.

Ah….I’m so easy. __❤ But don’t you agree, it’s one heck of pretty modern drama!

Official Trailer for Feng Shao Feng’s The Starry Night The Starry Sea

The Starry Night The Starry Sea (那片星空那片海) is a modern fantasy based on same-name novel written by Tong Hua (Bu Bu Jing Xin). It stars William Feng Shao Feng as the merman who encounters a human girl (Haden Kuo) one beautiful summer and falls in love with her. First official trailer is out and I have to say, it’s beautifully shot. Lots of wide shots to get the ocean, mountains, and sandy beaches. We are heading into Winter where I’m at so I gobble everything up. SO PRETTY.

Wang Zi Wen and Bosco Wong for Where Winter is Warm, Where Summer is Cool

Loosely translated, I will call it Where Winter is Warm, Where Summer is Cool (何所冬暖 何所夏凉), a novel written by Gu Xi Jue. Wang Zi Wen (When A Snail Falls in Love) and Hong Kong actor Bosco Wong (Destined to Love You) have been announced as the main leads in a story fans described as warm and gentle. It looks like a 2-part story, one about their courtship, and one about their post-marriage life. But apparently they are adding in a car accident causing blindness in our heroine to spice up the story. Lol. Of course, HE takes care of her whole-heartedly throughout her most depressing period. But after she regains her eyesight, he is gone from her life, leaving her an emptiness and yearning for the kind gentleman.

EDIT (7/12): This is the fastest turnaround ever!! Jia Nai Liang wasn’t even in the pool of actors considered! Due to scheduling conflict, Bosco will bow out. Jia Nai Liang will be our male lead instead. Sorry ladies!

Trailers Galore: Upcoming Cdramas, Movies, Shows 2016 (2)

\

Darn April’s Fool!! It sucks when I literally believe everything people say. I mean, they say it so earnestly (such good actors around me). I fell three times today, one of them involved an onscreen pair I really like…dating. LOL! Then my brother called me at 6AM telling me to go bail him out.

So how’s your day so far? 😀

TVB 2015 Anniversary Awards Ceremony: “Surprises.”

Don’t know why I still like to do this red carpet, maybe it is tradition (since 2012). I haven’t watched a single TVB drama all year long. Those I planned to watch (Lord of Shanghai, With and Without You), I ended up not having time for. Did you guys watch any this year? Agreed with the winners?

Guys with Kids releases 10-minute trailer with Bosco Wong and the Leo Bros

The faces of three dads who spent the night changing diapers and wiping peeweewee. Lol.

I wrote about this modern drama three months ago and we finally have a long trailer! And it’s wicked cute! Bosco Wong, Leo Luo (My Sunshine), and mainland actor, Leo Liu, star as a group of single man living in the same apartment. After (Bosco)’s ex-girlfriend passes away in a car accident, the girl’s baby is given to him, along with the mission of finding the baby’s daddy. Life is full of irony because our main hero previously lost a custody battle with his ex-wife and never got the chance to raise his own kid, and now he is raising another man’s child.

Tighten your pants ladies (and guys, to be fair), the cute might just be too much. =D

The boys in Destined to Love You vie for your attention

June is gonna be a restless and sleepless month for many of us. I almost forgot about this drama! The premiere date has been changed to the 16th of this month. KRAZY, I KNOW! They are starting the promotional session with an amusing teaser today. All the hot boys fighting for your attention. I watched this clip with a shallow face and giddiest laugh. XD You’re cute! Wait, he’s cute too!

I’m torn but I’ll go with the guy who stole my attention first! Leon! ♥♥♥
