Historical drama Biao Mei Wan Fu with Song Zu Er and Chen Xin Hai wrapped up filming

Biao Mei Wan Fu (表妹万福) is an upcoming costume drama adapted from the novel written by Peng Lai Ke (The Prisoner of Beauty). Our male lead is a deputy commander of Shenjiying who comes to the booming business city of Changle to buy firearms and gets entangled in the maritime warfare. Our female lead’s family’s merchant ship is on the verge of capture by the Japanese. He then continues to save her from an unwanted marriage by….going into one with her. XD

New Cdrama Trailers at the 2026 Tencent Video V Vision Conference

And the last compiled post for me! I won’t be doing these posts in the future because it’s too time-consuming and usually by the time I put the post up, most have seen the trailers on other platforms. No point in me rehashing another version. As always, I only included dramas with trailers since the stills will be in their individual post.

Zu Er’s previous drama The Prisoner of Beauty is also adapted from the same author! It means we are in the clear for a good drama right? Despite me not having watched Chen Xin Hai in anything before? Our male lead is a deputy commander of Shenjiying who comes to the booming business city of Changle to buy firearms and gets entangled in the maritime warfare. It’s RAINING DRAMAS!! WEEEEEEEE~~ Lol. This is gonna be a hot mess or maybe it’s the best time to be a cdrama fan as all three dramas just confirmed their airing date! Are you watching all three? Or just one? Or two?? My top one is Song Zu Er and Liu Yu Ning’s The Prisoner of Beauty, and if I have time, The Legend of Zang Hai. Have never watched Xiao Zhan in anything and he’s very popular, so I’m curious!
